I want my greeting message to start on the 4th ring. Currently it takes 6-8 rings before my message starts. Where is the setting for that?

So what happens when you use, say your cell phone, to verify? Do calls and texts from the Google Voice number also go to the cell phone? Does it also ring? What happens in terms of the cell phone after verification?
Do you know how to set it up to receive a text tone sound with incoming texts? When working in another tabs on my PC, I have no way of knowing when one arrives.
Hi John. Thanks for watching. Have a look at this google article. There are settings to allow sounds in your browser. That should give you an audible sound when a text or call arrives. Skipped right over the call forwarding section. ☹️ my cell phone won’t ring even though it has the app installed and is a linked number. But it doesn’t appear in the call forwarding section as an option to turn on and am wondering if that is the problem. Your video didn’t address this.
How can I send a picture via google voice?
During setup, google was asking permission to use my camera. What was this for? Should I allow it? Sounds sneaky.
Good question. On desktop I’ve only seen it use microphone. Bit, it seems the Android app may ask to do we camera. If you’re uncomfortable allowing camera, you should still be able to place phone calls and send text messages. What is meant by having to having another phone. I'm moving to Israel and israeli' have suggested to get Google voice to forward calls and text. I getting a new phone just before flying to Israel.israel gives me a Israel sim& ph.#. I'll only have 1 israeli ph.#? How to get Google voice?
