Airsoft Scar GBBR Bolt Catch Fix

My simple, yet effective fix for a common Scar GBB airsoft problem.
My bolt catch would not work properly and alot of the other fixes I found online were time consuming, required a lot of work and were generally complicated. So I did my own fix that requires almost no tools and takes 5 minutes to fix and I would like to share it with you.
Sorry about the crappy filming, but I only had my phone at hand. And it's really tricky to film with one hand and show what I do with the weapon with the other.

Hi, l just got a brand new WE Scar which is the same as yours, and the same problem here! I opened and checked it, and it is exactly like you said! Thank you for your video! But l am wondering if there is any better part to replace this stupid original part!!!

Hi dude!
Yeah RA-tech probably has a better replacement part available. However, the issue with mine was that the bolt catch itself didn't sit properly in it's socket. It would move slighly up, and not engage properly with the magazine. If you tried to glue the bolt catch in place, so it wouldn't move, maybe that'd help?

Have you tried to fire it? It locked?

@@alvinkevinalfonso4326 It locked the bolt back consistently for the rest of the time I had it - about a year of active use after I made the video.

I follow the instructions and it works. But when I fire the gun it won't lock
