Soon-to-be Toronto therapist here 🙋🏽♀️ can't thank you enough for sharing your journey with us! 💕 I do my case notes within 24hrs of the client session
Aaayyyy super excited for you!!! And girl, doing them within 24 hours is such a good idea!
Been loving your content! I’m a fellow psychotherapist and group practice owner.
I block 25 minutes after each session and use for time running over (oops, setting limits lol), case notes, bathroom breaks/food, emails, and decompressing (stretching, breathing). It goes fast. But I usually need to finish them at the end of the day.
I love your UA-cam handle “Joy of planting”
Starting my MSW program this fall & I’m so happy I found your channel! Love the content. (:
Congratulations on getting accepted into a MSW program and thank you for your support:)
I had to follow. I’m in understand soon to be going to grad school for mental health. I am also looking at setting up a private practice as well. Thank you for the insight.
You’re welcome- thanks for following along 😊
Hello, I am interested interested in a six figure series. You are inspiring me to take action to address my burnout. Thank you for sharing your journey :)
Im glad this video has been inspiring - and thanks for letting me know you're interested in that series Madison:)
i wish i could set my own schedule so jealous!
It’s definitely a possibility!
Loved the video!
Thank you😘
What's your niche clientele? Check out the book by Dr Tracy Marks called " what am I so anxious". Great read
Love your content! Launching my practice next month. I am so excited! How did you make the transition from agency work to private? Were you worried about the variable income with private work?
Aaaayyyy!!!! Congratulations girl! Super excited for you and I will make a video discussing my transition! Thanks for always supporting my channel and wishing you all the best!❤️
Great video. Why don't you do your notes during the session?
I go through seasons as well but I know I’m getting burnt out when I wait till the end of the week. 😞 so it’s never a good sign. When I’m good and productive, I do them in between sessions. Never at the end of the day cause when I’m done with work I’m done lol
You’re discipline sounds A1 girl!

Totally would be interested in the six figures video!! Also, what are the typical situations that would require for a therapist to go to court for the client?
Thanks for letting me know you’re interested in that video series and it’s not common for a therapist to go to court. It’s more common (depending on the demographic you service) to have to write a letter for court for example
25 client facing hours per week
If you’re still getting supervision, why are you in private practice? Does that mean you’re not licensed to do independent practice? You’re clearly doing better help or something like that as your “private Practice”.
Even the most experienced therapists get supervision. Private practice is also isolating so having someone to connect with and continue growing and expanding as a therapist is important to me. And to be clear, I do have my own private practice. I don’t work for anybody but myself.
You have to be fully licensed to work for BetterHelp as well…
