This guide is great. There are few actual guides like this for COTA. You gotta do one of these for the entire roster, including Magneto and Juggernaut (because why not)

Can you help me with tips to be able to dash cancel combos, and the jump cancels. I'm struggling with the time to cancel one move with another using dash, and with these air combos
@@jdestroyer9721 the part at 9:28, i can start the start of the dash of D.MP ST.HP but after that i can get the 2nd dash going into the remaining chain. and i'm also having trouble with the corner combo as well at 10:33 but i drop the combos once i super jump. like i can't seem to chain the air L.K's....
@@Seahawkfan1108 Hello! I may be of assistance here. Firstly, the dash cancel combo. In this demonstration you want to hit dash 5MP > 5HK > crouch cancel dash 5HK. Crouch cancel into dash definitely takes some time to get use to and requires abit of a rhythm. You should be pressing down (2) once the move hits followed by immediately letting go and going into a dash. I recommend, as opposed to pressing forward - forward (66), you should press the dash input (pressing 2 punch buttons at the same time) and then press 5HK as soon as possible (as an alternative to the dash input, you can also assign a dash macro like I do because I suck and my hands hurt). There's a rhythm to it that you need to pick up on. As practice, I recommend doing the HK infinite. The HK infinite is when you just do (5HK > crouch cancel dash > 5HK) × repeat indefinitely without any extra buttons or sequences. This won't be flashy but it's good practice to get use to 5HK into Crouch cancel dash. Make a goal to do this infinite without dropping it until the opponent is stunned as a way to practice and get the timing down till you can eventually do it consistently without dropping the combo. Once you can get it consistently try coming back to this video and doing this combo or just mix things up up by throwing in a button before an HK cancel. Once you get HK cancels down and understand it they basically allow you, in a way, to freestyle your ground combos. An example of the HK infinite (this is not a good example but I couldn't find or make a better example at such a short notice): ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxpuJ3TC_OWpCNmtS-CWeWh8xsvK-0HlPw As for the second combo, this one's even simpler once you get the hang of that part of the combo your stuck on. I think your problem is your trying to "chain" the j.LKs when you should be "linking" them in a sense. There should be an j.LK way up during the super jump, a verh small delay before hitting them again with a j.LK around the start of the Apex of the super jump height, and then one last j.LK during the end of the Apex / when psylocke is starting to fall down followed by finally going into her magic series and chaining j.MK > j.HK and then linking into j.LK > j.MK on the way down. It's all about the timing and the rhythm for this one too. Also note that storm's hurt boxes can be abit awkward so you may drop the combo easier on her if you don't have the proper timing down. The mid weights (AKA CYCLOPS) have a very similar route that is also listed in the video but are abit easier to combo due to their hurtboxes so practice on them till your ready to go to the other weights (BEAT UP CYCLOPS) I hope this helps and if you have any questions let me know.
