- Tura is district headquarters town of West Garo hills, Meghalaya. This place is about 300 km from Shillong. We spent about 15 days in Meghalaya, travelled to all the 3 Tribe areas of Meghalaya, North East India,.

Najing Vegetable Market: This is a weekly vegetable market, incidentally we were there on the vegetable market day.

I've always wondered about the landscape of Garo Hills. I've watched a lot of videos/vlogs of Meghalaya but everytime they missout on Garo Hills and stay limited only to somevspecific locations of Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills. This is the first time I watched a vlog from Garo Hills area. Your whole Meghalaya series is very much soothing to watch sir. I feel like I'm watching a very good documentary. The simplicity in your videos make your videos unique from most of the other UA-camrs, which a certain number of viewers prefer to watch over some videos with excessive transitions and effects. Thank you sir for showing these lesser known and relatively unexplored areas to us.
I am a rajput born and brought up in assam and have stayed there for good 20plus years but must say i myself havent visited these places. Absolutely loved the enthusiasm sir you and your team have done an amazing job and this is a revolutionary video in unlocking the tourism capacity of the quaint places in north east ! Kudos to visa2explore !
Tura / Garo hills is underrated and unexplored tourist destination. Water falls are so beautiful
If you come you will come to know bro it's very easy to find here because all area looks same here ..you can visit any area you will see same so don't worry
@@achikboymomin484 garo people whom I met are very nice .....visited in the year 2018... Very nice and good for tourism place.... Garo people are good unlike the khasis whom I met while Shillong tour who were very rude to us..... Garo spoke are most welcome to my state Orissa .... We also have a lot of tourist place do visit....

Jase : come and visit we have two national park in Garo hills nokrek national park and Balpakram national park, and siju bird sanctuary and so many village reserved forest. Garo hills rich flora and fauna, God blessed us
The potential of tourism in all the districts of Garo Hills is undermined. As you have said, lack of awareness and the lack of public - private commitment and investments are some of the reasons. On the bright side, it's catching up with the rest of the state. Thank you.

The cuisine and the scenic beauty of this place is unique. It's very interesting to note how the different local plants are sourced as food by the people . Most of the stuff is unknown to city dwellers like us .
Almost every plant that surrounds us is a source of food here but only thing is that one should know what it is.

Uparwale ne hame Kitna khubsurat desh diya hai jaha ek taraf himalayan high mountains hai, ek tarf beautiful desert, ek tarf beautiful beaches and ek taraf beautiful green hills aur islands bhi hai. Hamare paas kitna kuch hai bus duniya ko dikhane ki jarurat hai. Make our country clean, don't litter and throw trash on roads n hills.
