"A day in the life" - A trail riders day at work - 27.01.23

The other day, Glenn asked me if I would like to join him in driving ski slopes from Solvika (near Siljan, Skien Municipality) to Venstøpkjenn (a small lake in the the Telemark forests). Halfway through the trip we suddenly spotted something moving right by the ski slope, a “Tiur” or a Western Capercaillie en.wikipedia.o... I managed to capture it on camera (you can see it in this film)
I couldn't help myself (as usual, when I make such videos), I had to include a song. This song was written by my brother, Dan, in the late 80's sometime. I hadn't heard this tune since, and probably in the rehearsal space we had at the time. Even though it's been over 30 years, this song suddenly popped into my head a couple of weeks ago. I recorded an instrumental version in my home studio, from what I could remember…
I, who mostly sit all day, at work (as a computer consultant), or when I play music in my spare time, notice that I benefit from getting out into nature, and I also think it's nice to see Glenn work at what he does; To all you #andrewtate fans out there, young guys with identity issues, I say: Respect the women, and don't fear/be intiminated by them. To #andrewtate himself; You don't need to live like a super-materialistic bastard to be respected by women, and to feel like a MAN, you need a masculine work/profession and you'll be fine! Be the best man you can be!
