Did you clear the SG caching after u installed the plugin? The issue with SG is that you can not fully disable SG caching! Only if you modify some files....

Yes, WP Rocket does the best job. Combinable with Imagify. Also EWWW with SWIS does a great job. Ewww does support avif, which is more powerful than webp
My thoughts: a disclaimer at the beginning would have been the kind and sensitive thing to do. Wasted 30min I sadly didn't even have when I could have just been told to skip to the different approach and be set in 3min.
Hi Matt, Weird indeed ! again, fabulous tutorial. I wanted to use W3 Total cache because it has object caching included. When I use the Redis plugin,(my hosting co uses redis) nothing works and I can't connect it to Wp. When making changes in the cache plugin php, adding the ip address to the host nam'e broke the site. and using the hostname 'host' doesn't work either. ports set up, pw and other settings defined in the php config. With W3 3 cache, object caching works fine. Do you have a solution for this please? I need to install object caching. But obviously, total cache is not the answer. Thank you, best regards,
No question W3TC can lead to bad results. I've developed code + features for it in the past. The issue is because of its endless options one cant just leave on its defaults and expect good results. One must tweak it. In your case, it is likely u had your js/css minified and placed in the top header. You did set it to "blocking" (default setting) after all. w3-Rocket on the other hand does not set them to blocking and does move them out of the header. For the avg user who just wants to fire-forget Rocket seems more like the logical choice. For very big sites with specific use-cases and per-page nuances, w3tc is the way to go since rocket cant help you at that level.

Hi there! Thanks for your question. It’s the way caching works, however when updating paging or posts, the cache should auto empty cache so that the new content shows. So what you could do: empty caches - open your website in a new incognito screen - when working on your website, disable caching plugin entirely. Also make sure the caching of your hosting company also empties at the right time. Let me know if that works

In W3.. Performance > General Settings > Page Cache > Find "REST API" and select "Don't Cache" instead of "Disable REST API". This worked for me and I hope it helps you!

Hi there! Thats not suppose to happen. try disabling Javascript systems inside of W3 Total Cache. This might help!
