Simakan was mostly used as a rotation player in the second half of the season. The previous year it was worse, he had injuries problems and was once again used as a rotation player too. Do you really want a player you can't trust after what happened with Konaté and Matip ? At some point we really have to learn. The positive of signing him would be youngsters would quickly get some playing time i guess. And you wouldn't be able to complain because just like Konaté, you know what we'd be signing for.
