I have a question regarding the use of a soulstone to add a positive flip or a suit before a duel. If I choose the flip, can I use it for both attack and damage or only for one of them? What about Power Tokens and Focused +X simialr uses?
Short answer: No. Full answer: When you add a Positive Modifier to a duel, it lets you flip one more card in the duel itself and choose from among the ones you flip (or cancels a Negative Modifier). It doesn't affect the damage flip, but choosing a card with a higher value may give you enough of a difference between your duel total and your opponent's to grant you the Positive Modifier to the damage flip (difference of 11 or more). Same for Power Tokens. Focused, however, specifically says it also applies to the damage flip (if there is one in the duel), so does apply to both the duel and the damage, regardless of the difference between the duel totals.
