It honestly makes me love the song so much more. I'm an Asian American playing trombone and majoring in music education. I feel seen by the cultural taboo of pursuing a life dedicated to the arts and have a strained relationship with my family. Thank you Nemahsis for this song!
this is such a beautiful intimate concert. I love her for so many reasons. First she is like unbelievable beautiful so dam beautiful. Secondly she's got a voice of an angel. Third her music is intelligent unlike so much in this style. The chord changes the melodies she is one of the few artists in this genre that I love. Fourth her lyrics mean something deep not the shallow stuff you hear in this style a lot of times I mean really meaningful material and that I believe it comes from her history. And Fifth and most of all is her brave uncompromising moral integrity in that she was dropped from her label for standing up for a genocide being done to Palestinians and I have her on my Instagram and she continually stands up to the oppressor no matter what happens to her carrier and that is the most noble thing you can do. Where others and I won't name them but some of the biggest grammy artists still refuse to come out and stand up against the genocide in fear of losing fans, fame, there record companies whatever to do what she has done is more brave then you could imagine and shows her moral integrity. What a amazing woman.
back again. a world class talent. when will human beings start to realize that everybody poops. we're all connected. and all important. this is so powerful. that kind of talent deserves support. her life should be easy street with the skills she possesses. but the word can be unfair. so so so often. 🫂
i want her to go on tiny desk
can we @tinydesk or something?
it will be a legendary one
The story behind Hold On To Me made me cry instantly. Wow. I think Nemahsis doesn't realize the power she has yet. What an amazing talent.
same. instantly.
