Okay so kinda wish they would have put the characters on the cards, particularly for the court since they went with the portrait style but I like this! Love the pips. They are thematic and cute. @ I have it! I picked it up on my lunch break yesterday and since they were having a buy one get one 50 percent off sale (and the Poe deck they had looked too gruesome for me) I got two. My bookclub is doing a gift swap at the next meeting and I hadn’t picked anything up yet. Someone’s getting the Jane Austen tarot 😆. They’re welcome! 🤣 I haven’t had a chance to open it yet but I totally will after this week.

In keeping with the Tarot of Marseille system, I absolutely agree with ALL the choices made in this deck, especially the one for ''The Lovers'' which is really perfect for the meaning that the Tarot of Marseille gives to this arcana. Too bad this deck is only available at Barnes & Noble, we don't have their bookstores here in Canada 😭. I can order it on B&N website, but the cost of the shipping is the same as the cost of this deck... But I think it's worth it, despite the thinness of the paper of the cards. Oh how I can't wait to use it! 😃
I always used the 53 card Jane Austen Tarot as a tarot 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t have the new tarot, but want it, and I absolutely want to get the Jane Austen Oracle. Thanks for the walkthrough!
Ohh that BBC version of Pride and Prejudice is brilliant. I own it on vhs lmao. It is a comfort watch for me and yes. Colin Firth IS Mr. Darcy. Full stop. *swoon* I just love her novels. I want someone to really make a great tarot on p&p or Jane Austen. Youre right the courts should have stuck to one book. Choices were made lol. Im so sad about the carstock, too. Man lol.
I like the art, but some of the character choices wouldn't have been my first choice. I'm intrigued though... How would you compare the card stock to Brian Froud's Faeries Oracle? That's my gauge for "papery" decks.
