Thanks for this video! I'm an English student studying Spanish and Italian for my degree, I've been allocated università di bologna for my year abroad next year but I've never been so this is helpful! X
HAII!! Thank you for making this video. I came to know about the University of Bologna. However, I want to ask about the lecture system in Bologna regarding the department of information culture and media organization. Typically, "1 term" is how many months? and how long is the duration for a master's degree? and how many days are the courses per week? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Hi! It usually depends on the number of credits (ECTS/CFU) per course, in the program you're asking about most courses would either be 12 CFU which will be 60 hours of teaching or 6 CFU which will be 30 hours of teaching. The entire first term runs from late September to mid-December with some exams in-between and in January, then the second term runs from mid-February to early May, with exams running from late May to mid-July and extra exam options in early September. The master's degree will normally take two full years, but based on how you choose to take your exams/write your thesis it may take longer (2.5 years without having to pay anything extra, then you will have to pay your tuition for the third year and so on). Your weekly schedule varies greatly throughout the year, but on average it'll be around 3-4 days of classes per week with approximately 2-3 classes per day (most classes are 2 hours long, with some being 3 hours long). I hope that helps 😊
Hello, i am a new subscriber. Thank you for this video. Are you required to submit the sat score? Is it hard to get into? What are some things that i can do that will make me stand out! Thank you
Hi, there’s no need for an SAT score, but some programs will either have an internal test or TOLC, a local exam assessing your preparation! I recommend you to check out the program you’re interested in, as the requirements vary greatly. Best of luck!
I really liked this university. But the classroom seems like highschool classes. How about the campus of engineering? Are the classes are small like this? Did you had a chance to see?
I’ve never been to the engineering campus, however I’ve been to large classes that can accommodate up to 300 people at once, it all depends on the course and how many people are taking it :D
I am admit in bologna university now but I can't afford my expenses without scholarship ergo scholarship deadline has passed due to late admission confirmation. Should I need to cancel my admission forward please guide me what can I do?
hi. I loved your video and I would love to bologna to study and I have some questions is a 4 GPA enough to get into bologna for studying my bachelor's in it? and do I have a chance for the scholarship? and what score of tolc-e has the best chance of getting in?
Hi, thank you! Of course, 4 gpa is enough, and I have more about scholarships on my Patreon, with a video dedicated to scholarships in Bologna coming soon, so check it out here: www.patreon.com/dramaticallyexpatic Best of luck!
Hi! There are a few university-owned halls, check them out here: www.unibo.it/en/services-and-opportunities/study-grants-and-subsidies/housing-and-residences/housing-and-residences-in-bologna/housing-and-residences-in-bologna
Can you help me in applying for unibo for bachalors in economics??... I'm currently on my final year of high school. I'm from India and it's very comlicated to understand what are the requirements for my course. It will be very helpful :)
Could someone give me an honest explanation of italian uni. Is it stressful and is I really worth studying it? If I study to become a lawyer, is it certain I'll find a job afterward my studying?
It is no more stressful than in other countries (and is definitely less stressful than in the US, for example, as you can take your exams many times without being expelled, the pace of studying is slower, etc..); however, as you can guess, in today's world nobody could guarantee you'll get a job afterwards. If you work hard, find internships and work experience, and boost your skills, you will definitely have a higher chance, but even then it could sadly be a matter of luck.
My degree is officially in Italian, although about 40% of my classes are either taught in English or have at least some materials/assignments in English

In what language are the classes taught , is it good for international students that aren’t fluent in Italian ?
It depends on the degree program, there are the programs taught in Italian as well as those taught entirely in English!
Hello! I will be enrolling in the university of Bologna, but I was wondering if there's a student accommodation building on the campus?
