Here's my thorough review of the RTP 700. Along with this Huion has also launched RTS-300 and RTM-500 with similar pen technology.

This tablet's pen sensitivity and surface texture is really amazing. It's slightly better than my previous wacom intuous pro medium. But the only downside is that its left touch buttons are pretty useless. Let me explain...
When you start your art project, you pretty much engrossed into the work, that you don't see your tablet at all. The problem now is that the left buttons don't have any palpable indentation to point out where the buttons are and you will have to look down to see the buttons. At night, it becomes all the more useless, because there are no backlights to indicate the location of the touch buttons. Just use the keyboard & pen shortcuts. The drawing experience more than makes up for the buttons' inconvenience.
I totally agree with your observations for those touch sensitive buttons. In fact, I've disabled mine to avoid any accidental touches there.

Haven't had any trouble so far. Now huion has offered a new driver and software.

How does this one compare to the hs611, in terms of the feel of the surface, the stability of the pen, etc? Thanks!
Haven't used the HS611 but shared my thoughts about the RTP 700 in the video.
Hey. Do you think that new surface wears out pen nibs quicker? The official page states that the new pen has more durable pen nibs, but how long will they last?
I've been using it for 15 days so can't comment on that yet.

RTP 700. It's newer and the pen has better ergonomics. The pen tech inside also makes the experience extremely feather touch kind.

I hope they fixed the pen holder (nib puller). I have the 950P and I don't think the holder does the job that well.
The 950P has a very smooth surface but I am really happy with the product. The Huion products are amazing cheaper alternatives to the expensive Wacom stuff.

thanks for the vídeo, great explanation, one question if you can answer. Is posible rotate the tablet and orientate the sensible buttons to the right side?, but that the tablet run normally? I hope I may explainded correctly
You can flip it but you can't change where the buttons are.

It'll be fine if you're planning to plug it on the front USB ports. But yeah, getting an extended wire will be more convenient.

You'd need an extension cable in that case.

How does the surface feel compared to the H950p, when drawing? Is it rougher, smoother, or the same?
Unfortunately haven't used the H950p.
@@MrMuBot Thanks for the reply! From the video I get the impression the RTP has a rougher surface, to simulate pen on paper. I prefer the smooth surface of the h950p. I have tried a few of the other Huion models. The HS611 has a similar surface to the h950p, but uses the PW500, which is a more stable pen. Anyway, thanks for the review.

Yes it has lasted pretty well. Haven't been using it right now. But used for 4-5 months initially.
I heard Huion PW517 has a firm tip with no wobble. Its tip is firm as a wacom. PW100 has a lot of wobble and squishy feel to it. What’s your take on this PW400? Is it firm or still wobbly?
The tip wobbles on both the pens. But maybe the PW400 has slightly more wobble. But that really didn't affect anything in my usage.

Pw400 tip wobbles just very slightly more than pw100. But it doesn't affect anything in usage. Both tips wobble a little.

Which one you prefer and why? RTS 300 vs RTM 500? I'm confused. Which one to buy. Usage is note taking and showing simple drawings and calculations to clients.
Both have just different sizes. Really depends on your use case. Both sizes will be good. I personally feel rts 300 is quite small and okay for rare uses or signing stuff sometimes.
I sometimes do 3d sculpting. The only difference between those 2 is the size.
5:25 You can switch the side of the touch keys to the right and still connect via usb-c, switch the Position in the Huion Software and you are good to go.

They easily last for many months. Depends on the usage too. Few nibs come with the package itself.
@@MrMuBot i have planned for drawing every day, are those nibs enough for that? I kinda afraid that i will run out of nibs, because I've checked the nibs replacement on internet but i couldn't find it for this series (probably because this is a new product)
In our case a nib at least lasts for 3-4 months. If I can find my older ones, I'll try putting in this new pen and will try to update you.

@@ytakun3612 Sorry it took me sometime but yes the rtp 700 nibs are unique and none of the older ones can be used. But you get 10 extra nibs inside so I guess that should last 2 or 3 years.
the extra nibs are inside the pen holder. U have to unscrew the bottom
I get soooooo excited when you release a new video, I hold my breath for 9 months, and then i watch it. Sometimes I turn a bit purple, which my many girlfriends tell me is "sexy." So, I just bought one of these tablets. 30 seconds after removing it, it disappeared. You seem to be knowledgeable about Huions, so, can you tell me where it is? Thank you.

It works on mac so if you can manage to install the same drivers on Linux in some way then possibly.

@@MrMuBot I am UX designer but much interested in product design.. so some sketching and stuff... and yes actually there is no need for a pentab right now since I am designing everything from last 10yrs with the mouse and keyboard.. want to try pentab and explore how I can make use of it in workflow.. not even sure if it will help or not.. so need something entry level if it fits in workflow I might upgrade in a year with something goood
Let me give you an idea - Check the overall dimension of each tablet and cross-check with a paper what can work with you. You don't need to get the largest size. For many, even the smallest or medium size works great.
