This huge site, one of the best preserved ancient cities in the Mediterranean, will take most of the day to see every part in detail. It is easily approached by road from Selçuk, or by public transport from Kuşadası.
I am at Ephesus right now. Thank you for the free audio tour.

***** Selcuk is about 600 km from İstanbul , 50km from İzmir. You can come by bus or by train. If you will come by airplane, you can get the train from Adnan Menderes Airport .It takes 45 minutes.
A trick: you can watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Ares Adam yup, I've been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)

So cool to see the before and after pictures.
from wiki " Ephesus (/ˈɛfəsəs/;[1] Greek: Ἔφεσος Ephesos; Turkish: Efes; may ultimately derive from Hittite Apasa) was an ancient Greek city[2][3] on the coast of Ionia, three kilometres southwest of present-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. " -link... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephesus
Thank you. This was very helpful.

Amazing.
Reasons why the world is sensitive about Cyprus and Crete so that troubles don't wade across?
Thank you to the German Federation for showing me where my Great x idont know Grand Father was buried.
10000 A.D. ? Is that really a date?
btw ephesus was greek but it they didnt say
anything about it -.-
Both wrong and right. Though it was established by ancient Greeks, it was later conquered by Romans. Thus, there are a lot of buildings belonging to each of the cultures.
which culture mongo? the city is greek...like smrni...and whole asia minor.....where is ur culture? in mongolia?.
FR refers to ancient Greeks and Romans (not Ottomans). You might want to improve your English first instead of insulting Turks and bragging about ancient Greeks who lived thousands of years ago.
before greeks you assume there were no one???? rubbish

did the Roman and Greek occupation of Western Turkey intersect?
It was originally a Greek city, but had numerous powers come through, including the Lydians, Persians, etc. then later was willed to the Romans by the king of Pergamum.
it was an hittite city
