Years ago I watched this set for the first time. I didn't know the first thing about edm or festivals or anything. 3 years later I got to see hardwell at UMF Miami and it was a dream come true.
For me, 2015 was controversial in terms of #1 DJ voting... I still can't believe why Hardwell wasn't the #1 DJ that year. He released tons of amazing music + the United We Are album
All of this culminated in a beef between Hardwell & DV&LM over DJ Mag voting procedures followed by DV&LM refusing to play at Tomorrowland if Hardwell was on the lineup and DV&LM, being managed by the same people who run Tomorrowland, won the case, banning Hardwell in 2016 and 2017. It also paved the way for Martin Garrix’s triple crown 2016-2018 Year 1: Hardwell, along with Dillon Francis, takes shots at DJ Mag for production talent, using Atmozfears as an example. He slipped to #3 Year 2: Slipped further to #4. Closer to the end of the year, he appeared at DV&LM’s Bringing Home the Madness show, premiering a collaboration (eventually titled “Unity”, released at Tomorrowland 2018) Year 3: Returned to Tomorrowland after a 2 year exile, only to announce his hiatus 1.5 months after Tomorrowland. Went to #3 Year 4: Fell out of the top 10 (unsurprisingly); DV&LM win #1 fair and square, with no Hardwell to criticize them Years 5-6: no developments Year 7: Returned to the scene, albeit on a much lighter schedule than pre-hiatus; controversially found himself at #44 (!) Year 8: Potential new collab with DV&LM?
For everyone saying this is a fake set and "The CDJ's Are Off" maybe you should consider how CDJ's look like when they are on! ALL 4 cdj disk LEDS are on!..... like come on Hardwell is the best DJ in the world.. why would he risk doing this with camera all around him. The lighting has made the screens appear off.. you can also see that he is doing it live with the amount of effects that he is using! THINK PEOPLE!

andrew kelepouris I think not ,In Djing Hardwell is so focused on his job and have that energy ,but DV&LM just drink vodka so hell no .There is a better guys that should be number one ,for example dyro he has unique style ,but this is dj mag not producer mag :P
i really hope Hardwell gets the number 1 spot. But in an interview he said ' I had a dream to be number 1 on dj mag. and I've achieved it now i wanna focus more on my production side.
well this is his best ultra set so far. and guys he even admitted to the host ( one of the girls) that his 2014 ultra set was little boring compared to this one.. :). and he was inspired by his 2013 set. and yes he had new tracks in it. vocal track, hardwell & dannic -survivor and third a collab with a dutch dj,he said his name is secret for now.

Sven hallo...haha you could be playing baseball since you were twelve but that doesn't make you the best baseball player in the world. The fact that you think he's the best shows you know nothing about djing. Look up "Laidback Luke", he's a much better DJ, and he has a seminar on how to actually DJ...I suggest you watch it ;)
no. he is one of the best big room djs. not as good as w&w or laidback luke, but up there. but he is not underrated. there are a lot of better djs and producers out there who are underrated. Ian Standerwick, Darren Porter, Simon Patterson, Bryan Kearney, Sean Tyas, Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani etc are kicking out sets that beat every Ultra set by far.

If you and fan of a guy like Hardwell , you know what he has , just follow their latest aprensentações , he can play the same song 10,000 times but if you really understand, you will see that each new presentation , something changes , some changes of music elements to make this day a little more special! Jonnathan Omena this... for the most part at least. His custom edits and mashups are unmatched. The effort he puts in to these big sets trumps most others. He is super talented and willing to put in the time. He deserves the credit he gets.
Yeah his set at beyond was dope, way better than the ones at EDCLV 2014 and OMFG SD, and to the other buddy yeah my bad, thats what I meant, his set at ULTRA 2013 was the best one from all his Ultra sets, and thanks for the recommendation, I will watch that set United We Are from Amsterdam. I went to the one I am Hardwell at Inglewood, CA. And it was awesome I hope he brings that tour (United We Are) in that Venue (The Forum) again.

Muhamed shamir 2013 Both Ultra & Tomorrowland was insane for Hardwell..
He broke twitter that year lolz
2013 was probably his golden year but I think his best Ultra set was in 2014.
Tomorrowland 2012 and Ultra 2013 are his best sets for sure!
For me, 2015 was controversial in terms of #1 DJ voting... I still can't believe why Hardwell wasn't the #1 DJ that year. He released tons of amazing music + the United We Are album
All of this culminated in a beef between Hardwell & DV&LM over DJ Mag voting procedures followed by DV&LM refusing to play at Tomorrowland if Hardwell was on the lineup and DV&LM, being managed by the same people who run Tomorrowland, won the case, banning Hardwell in 2016 and 2017. It also paved the way for Martin Garrix’s triple crown 2016-2018
Year 1: Hardwell, along with Dillon Francis, takes shots at DJ Mag for production talent, using Atmozfears as an example. He slipped to #3
Year 2: Slipped further to #4. Closer to the end of the year, he appeared at DV&LM’s Bringing Home the Madness show, premiering a collaboration (eventually titled “Unity”, released at Tomorrowland 2018)
Year 3: Returned to Tomorrowland after a 2 year exile, only to announce his hiatus 1.5 months after Tomorrowland. Went to #3
Year 4: Fell out of the top 10 (unsurprisingly); DV&LM win #1 fair and square, with no Hardwell to criticize them
Years 5-6: no developments
Year 7: Returned to the scene, albeit on a much lighter schedule than pre-hiatus; controversially found himself at #44 (!)
Year 8: Potential new collab with DV&LM?
For everyone saying this is a fake set and "The CDJ's Are Off" maybe you should consider how CDJ's look like when they are on! ALL 4 cdj disk LEDS are on!..... like come on Hardwell is the best DJ in the world.. why would he risk doing this with camera all around him. The lighting has made the screens appear off.. you can also see that he is doing it live with the amount of effects that he is using! THINK PEOPLE!

no. he is one of the best big room djs. not as good as w&w or laidback luke, but up there. but he is not underrated. there are a lot of better djs and producers out there who are underrated. Ian Standerwick, Darren Porter, Simon Patterson, Bryan Kearney, Sean Tyas, Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani etc are kicking out sets that beat every Ultra set by far.

Jonnathan Omena this... for the most part at least. His custom edits and mashups are unmatched. The effort he puts in to these big sets trumps most others. He is super talented and willing to put in the time. He deserves the credit he gets.

I went to the one I am Hardwell at Inglewood, CA. And it was awesome I hope he brings that tour (United We Are) in that Venue (The Forum) again.
