Awesome video! Have been double hunting darkrai in gen 4 for a few days now, about 1000 encounters in but no luck. My diamond version hasn't had a shiny for over 25,000 encounters so I'm feeling good about this hunt, hopefully it'll be over soon.

im shiny hunting a 5% slakoth in ruby/sapphire. currently on my second phase. first phase was a quick wurmple at 2062 encounters. ive been dry ever since now sitting at 22424 lol. im in for a LONG one.
@PokeToT I did try the camp reset method for a bit but I found out softresting is actually faster by like half a second if you turn off the "select profile" option on the switch settings, you just have to be a bit more careful to not reset over the shiny but it's a risk I'm willing to take 😅
