I think the results for a ‘least favorite character’ poll would be wildly different from just taking the characters that got the least votes in a ‘most favourite character’ poll.
Like, very few people like Hifumi enough to call him their favourite, but would many people dislike him enough to call him their least favourite?
(The answer is probably yes, but I’d be shocked to see him take first prize in that poll.)
Just because someone's not my favorite doesn't mean I don't like them. Same is true for the opposite.
The problem with these kinds of polls is that they make it look like only certain characters are liked when people are only allowed to pick one out of 50 characters (counting Ball Monokuma). I'm sure that if we had been allowed to pick more than one character, this list would be entirely different. Especially if there was a poll for our least favorite characters. Maybe Hifumi might make the list, but he likely wouldn't be at the top (that spot will be reserved for Haiji).

They say Haiji is well-written, but what about Hiyoko? She was bullied and became a bully and people defend Mikan. I hate how everyone just makes Mikan so and super innocent but Hiyoko.. Hiyoko used to be innocent.

Yes, I know Mikan used to be innocent till those bullies came but this makes it equal for Hiyoko and Mikan. Hiyoko went through the "If I become like them, I won't be scared anymore." path but Mikan went through the "They're right, I should keep doing this because everyone would like me." path.

Makoto isn't that popular from what ive seen. He's not hated but he's constantly thought of as the most boring protagonist

If Kaito never steped out of the Exisal, everyone would have died because Monokuma already knew who was inside despite Shuichi trying to trick him
Actually, he did not. Only reason why he had a suspicion of who was inside the Exisal was because of Shuichi, but he had no way to know for sure.
@@toumabyakuya It was never said but it's easy to figure it out. Monokuma said "Hey Shuichi, I DON'T KNOW WHAT ARE YOU SCHEMING. But you are not extras at all. If YOU vote wrong YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOUR PUNISHMENT like champs, GOT IT?" Monokuma never believed Shuichi's desperate lie. And it would be a big risk to let Monokuma vote rigth and the rest vote wrong.
@@joseleonardofarfanperez2838 Thing is that the entire chapter establishes that Monokuma had no way to know what had happened in the hangar. So he couldn't know who was in the Exisal.
Only reason why Monokuma said that at all was because Shuichi had already proven who was inside the Exisal during the class trial, so now that Shuichi is going against what he himself said all Monokuma is doing is telling him that he was too late.
@@toumabyakuya Exactly, Monokuma didn't knew at first, but after Shuichi explained everything, he did knew. And even when Shuichi lied, he knew it was just a desperate lie. And again, it would be a huge risk. If Monokuma did vote for Kaito, and the rest for Kokichi then the others would be executed and everyone would lose. Get out of the Exisal was the best solution to this.

Not really. If he didn't get out of the Exisal then Monokuma wouldn't have any way to confirm if Shuichi's logic was correct or not. After all, Maki was still a potential blackened and Monokuma had no way to figure out what was the true cause of Kokichi's death.

Kaede 2nd fav ? I mean storyline wise shes Amazing but she probably has thé most basic V3 personnality with tsumugi and kirumi but at least kirumi's design is Amazing and tsumugi has thé excuse of acting normal so she Can fly under thé radar
Funny thing is, if you think about it, Tsumugi is like everyone in the world (assuming that the argument that she was also brainwashed isn't true): a crazed Danganronpa fan, therefore she really was just "normal" by the definition of the world. I still found her amazing though, and am genuinely glad she isn't one of the top ten disliked characters from this list.
