No matter what the dealer told you, you cannot spray it out with a water hose. Unless, of course, your preferred car scent is mildew, then all bets are off.
Bought mine in May of 06 , Voodoo blue , still has the original factory Panasonic battery . Never been to the dealer for repairs, just regularly maintained and pampered . Worth every penny .
Sparse interior? I just bought a 2011 model off my neighbor. 70k miles, $25k cash. It is immaculate. The “spartan” interior is what I love most! Everything works, and is simple to use and tough. Superior controls compared to my 2007 V6 RAV4 AWD Limited. Superior comfort and ride, too. But my V6 RAV4 will whup it’s ass in a race. No doubt about it. I’m happy with my current stable of Toyota’s. Gotta sell the 1991 4Runner with 98k miles though.
You missed the cup holders. By removing the rubber in them, you can fit up to 48 oz Nalgene water bottles. How many cars do that? Regarding the blind spots, 100% agree with you by driving using the mirrors, that are gigantic by the way. The other good thing is that it never gets to hot inside in warm weather due to size of the windows and position of the windshield, that is a big plus for me.
Hello, fellow North Carolinian. I've been thinking of purchasing an FJ Cruiser for a while and have watched many many review videos. This is by far the BEST detailed in-depth review that is on UA-cam. I have never seen anyone demonstrate how to raise and lower the seat before. You do it with such finesse. I paused the video at 19:22 to write this... You might want to check yourself out in that frame. I don't know what comes next yet, but let me say gesundheit in advance. ; ). Awesome review. Thank you!
I bought mine loaded in 07', still my daily driver and love it! It's seams I get offers either from dealerships or individuals wanting to buy it about 3 or 4 times a year. Still has a good following. The main thing for me is it's unique look, I can easily spot my ride in any parking lot a mile away and it's all stock except the tires. Most fun and comfortable 4 wheel drive vehicle I've ever owned.
I'm just this in the December of 2018 and I did not see myself watching 22 minutes of HotToCarGuy review the FJ Cruiser, but here I am 23 minutes later. I loved the review man, also great socks and "purplish" sweater
That one is in really great shape. I have a fully loaded 07 since new with 200k. Awesome rig, but this one seems to have more luxury features.(side visors, better stereo, back up camera. What I really want in mine is to delete my damn traction control like this one can.Nice video!
Always loved the FJ, I came so close to buying one once but just couldn't get over how bad the fuel mileage is. I hope Toyota brings it back someday with a bit better fuel economy.
Bro, you're so funny. I was looking up reviews on FJ's. I'm now in the market for one. Went to your website but you don't have one in stock. Keep making vids you too funny.
Nice job on the review. I learned something about my radio. Never really know what the ASL meant. Mine has settings of Low/Med/High... I'll check it out as it was set to off.
Any idea why the FJ cruiser was discontinued.? I thought the car was cool in 2015 when I first saw it and I thought of getting one in the future. Nice rugged SUV that would take anything.
The white top also helps keep the vehicle cooler by reflecting the heat of the sun rather than absorbing it like other colors. Well thought out by Toyota. The majority of the original Toyota landcruisers also had white caps.
I still own an 02 Jeep Liberty I bought new for the wife that we took delivery of in Oct of 01. I can't believe how much Toyota borrowed in the way of the good parts of the Liberty on the inside. The dash on the inside of this Toy is laid out almost identically to the Jeep Liberty that came out earlier even down to the knobs for the vent and temp and steering wheel controls, gauges, why even the back door and lift gate are similar in function and design to the earlier Liberty as well as the look of the steering wheel wrap, the roof rack and more only you get it all in a Toy! While we've owned the Jeep sixteen years I wish it climbed in value like the Toy! Had I known how Toy took some of the best ideas of Jeep and incorporated them into this I'd maybe have looked at one.
I am considering buying an FJ Cruiser and have watched a bunch of on line videos. This is by far the most informative showing all the features.
I have a 2007 FJ and love it! nice video

I'm a brand new FJ owner, 2013 with 8,000 miles. Yes you read that right. Thanks for the info!!!
WOW! you found a good one, my friend. CONGRATULATIONS!
You have a solid color. Those look so much better, than 2-toned vehicles.

Haha. I love the review. It's funny, informative, and thorough. I appreciate the review. Keep up the great work.
Best review iv seen in a while.
Great job.
Love this vehicle.
I’m can’t understand why there’s such a commentary on the “suicide” doors...hasn’t anyone been in a truck extra cab? Same situation...very normal...
Really well detailed, looks brand new.
Excellent review. Well done sir.
Going off topic here, but the LF 1 needs to hit dealerships asap! Great video as usual buddy!
+Wade Higgins Oh muy gosh, yes! I was researching it last night and made several observations. Might just do a video on it 👍
Awesome review, just wish you would have commented on how it drives

Love mine ❤
hi from Canada got a 2008 FJ and to this date work very good, I love the 2 colors , the white top make it more retro, love your video review
The white top also helps keep the vehicle cooler by reflecting the heat of the sun rather than absorbing it like other colors. Well thought out by Toyota. The majority of the original Toyota landcruisers also had white caps.
Great review. Thanks.
THATS MY FJ!!
Great walk through! But..... how exactly do you cut something on, like the cruise control lol.
6:15 YES!! You should not be able to see behind you with the side mirrors.
Well-reviewed, North Carolina.
At 2:36 (during the shoulder workout), I thought you were the "Gyro Captain" (Mad Max 2)
Awesome video man!
Great vid
2:43, are those dame edna glasses? Still great review tho, geets from Paraguay
my name says it all
You're kinda goofy, but this was a really detailed and informative video.
Awesome video.

i want video explaine fj that drive in the mountain
how much?
Like for the socks
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback!
It sits on the prado frame.
how much litre for 100km distance
how does the FJ compare in fuel consumption compared to Lexus rx350...
That is called " carpenter level"
WHy does the radio do that with the line keeps going up
That is what happens when you take a video of a tv screen or radio screen. Not happening in the actual vehicle. Just on your screen.
More cute if theres a moonroop
That thing it’s called a Gyroscope...
I’m a bit bothered by how uncentered the Toyota logo is on the steering wheel.
Not based on 4 runner platform. Prado👍
4runner or fj cruiser?
FJ for the coolness of the look and the 4Runner for the everyday comfort and versatility. So, BOTH!
HowToCarGuy hahaha thanks!
4runner for grocery getter fj for everything else
4Runner TRD offroad.
MorT
I've got $600 sheepskins on my front seats.... 2010 FJ.....
