Postmates: Too Many of your Recent Deliveries Have Ended Inefficiently

  • A lot of post mates drivers are going on the forums and stating that they're being given an automated message, forced to go off line and being told too many of their recent deliveries have ended inefficiently.     I've yet to have that message pop up. Postmates algorithm fascinates me more and more everyday. I usually stick to delivering within a 3-4 mile radius. So, whenever I get an offer for an order that's outside that radius I click skip and say out loud " Oh hell no! Give it to another driver!"

    Yep that happen to me today. I wish I had known this because the customer was rude as hell.

    I can not make any real money delivering for Postmates alone in my semi rural area. I have to run 3 or 4 apps simultaneously! Turning apps on and off has become an art form! I usually go online on all of the apps when I am close to dropping off a current delivery. Recently Postmates has cancelled an order I accepted. I don't know if it was because I was going a different direction than the accepted delivery restaurants location or some other reason. This has happened twice.

    That map is so messed up. They do that to me all the time. A place will appear close but it's 5+ miles away. I've cancelled a few orders, usually one a day two at most. But never back to back. I have been getting orders that want to stack but before I even accept them, postmates tells me it's cancelled by the customer. Idk it's weird and I've been getting like hour more waits while the area is super red. I've been thinking about quitting.

      Just know you can not deliver for four months and still be active. Maybe take a breather.

      @@jackofpaultrades random question man. I picked up an order and got a flat tire. My spare was flat too. Needless to say I had to cancel the order. I selected I got into an accident because that was the closest thing to my situation and the "other" tab wouldn't work. Will postmates punish me for it? Like will I not get orders for a while or something?

      You should be fine. You typically get a phone call when cancelling due to an emergency. If they called then explain the situation. If they didnt call then I would not worry about it

    Thanks so much for this video. I was confused and irritated when I got the message a few times during my 1st 35 deliveries. I was so used to Doordash giving me all the info I need to decide if I will accept the order or not. Sounds like Postmates is leaving it up to us to figure things out. I might try Postmates again now with this new information.

    The other day I cancelled 2 orders after I accepted them because I didn’t realize I didn’t have my payment card till I got to the restaurant. Totally muy fault. Then today the gps guided me to the wrong spot so it took me longer because had to call the customer and it was a stacked order idk. It’s cool. I am not taking it personally I work on other platforms.

    paul i saw on reddit that the map isnt live so we really have no idea how many orders are in an area?

      It shows what HAS been ordered recently. But i am sure there is a refresh delay.

    ive nvr gotten that message b4 but i dunt get bonus incentives or guarentees either feelsbadman but i did get a new terms of services i had to agree on before i continued to get into my account to see my deposits, did u get an updated for tos?
