- 4 way switch to control your smart lights & any other devices setup in Samsung Smartthings. Here's how to setup & config.
** "Please Note, that there are quite a few switchs that look the same as this, but may not with with this device handler." **

Ok, so my SmartThings portal doesn't look like that at all, has it changed since last year? I don't have the option to go into "My Device Handlers".. Any ideas?
Hi - Is there a way round this now that you can't add handlers on Groovy IDE? thanks
Hi.
In my case
Button 1 is 4
Button 2 is 3
Button 3 is 1
Button 4 is 2
Do you know how to change this ?
I have the same question, kind sir. Is there any way to add a decice handler or a way to make this 4 button switch work, please? I am hating Smartthings and Samsung right now, messing with the one feature that made ST cool and attractive. Thank you in advance.
I don't have the smartthings hub. Can I do this with a generic zigbe hub?
Great tutorial thank you - Could I use this to trigger Alexa routines?
What's the max number of times to try scanning for nearby devices before giving up? Tried with Moes scene switch 10+ times so far.
I did have to manually assign the Type of the switch to "Powered by Tuya TS004F", but either way this was a huge help and prevented me from having to return a couple of switches.
Hi do you have edge driver for the same
Thanks! I struggled with this and even bought a Tuya hub trying to get it to work and couldn't, hours on smart things threads, multiple DTH and couldn't get a single button to work, thank you!
This helped a bunch. Had lost hope on this 4-way switch. Definitely didn’t want to spend more on another hub having the STs one. Thanks!
Thank you for the tutorial! I have this button branded under a different name (Prokord wireless 4-button scene switch) and thought I would give it a go. During pairing the button showed up as "Thing". I manually changed the type to the provided custom handler, but no button presses are recognized in the live log and no automation is run. Probably my button is not TS004F. I find it weird as the instructions for connecting to the tuya app are the same as yours. Do you know how I can find out if my button is compatible with tuya TS004F or something else?
Look at my post above!
Thanks for review,dear
Just tried adding this 4-way switch to my ST Hub using the process shown in the video but the device is never found despite repeated attempts. Anybody have suggestions to try please?
Look at my response above!
The only solution that worked for me, thank you
Thank you very much for the video, it helped a lot! 😀
These home automation projects always seem to be overly complicated.
Some are as companies don't want to spend money making the work with other devices, but developer community do.
I agree, can't wait for MATTER protocol middle of this year, then most new devices released at the end of 2022 & some already released with hubs will just work with each other, no more faffing about, hopefully!
Hi can get it to work any ideas?
Isn't Samsung planning to remove the groovy ide and functionality soon?
They are eventually but giving time for developers to create new code that will make devices work locally aswell.
@@hometechUK thanks for the quick response! I really like this switch, I'm just worried about installing one then having to update the device driver soon. And also having to rely on smartthings to update in a way the driver will still work
Thank you 😊
