For the Procession, the programme states the first outward march is called Steadfast & True. The other march listed is called With Sword and Lance. I then went UA-cam to see if either of these marches sound like the one in my video but they do not. It’s quite confusing because two military bands played on Garter Day. Each played at least 2 outward marches, 6 pieces under the heading’ Static Music’ and each played at least 2 outward marches. Sorry I am unable to pin this down for you

This is the coolest order imo. I hope they still follow the quirky little rules. I know when knights of the bath used to get created, they were totally nude to bathe which was fine until we reach Mary Tudor! She had someone step in for her. I don’t think they take it THAT seriously anymore 😂 I hope the knights are still created, but in a more modern and comfortable way.

Camilla is a member of the Order. I do understand your point of view. However , time has passed and Camilla has been married to Charles for almost 20 years now. When you look at it like that, it would be strange if , as his wife, she wasn’t a member. Despite everything, Catherine’s predecessor, Diana, will never be forgotten

The march is Golden Spurs, by Samuel Rhodes who finished his military music career as Lt. Colonel Director of Music, Scots Guards, in the late 1950’s.
