im new to pokemon tcg and i really appreciate you guys explaining plays as you go! the amount of cards to learn is kinda overwhelming and this is helpful :)
I think Hydreigon is fine if you focus around the first attack, with Obsidian being a late game finisher move if used at all. 200 damage whilst milling 3 is being underrated I feel.
Great video! a bit unrelated to the vid but would definitely like to see some milotic ex gameplay as it seems like something that could disturb some of the popular decks
Is there any reason you didnt pop the duskull at 53:28 to take a KO on the active pika. It would result in you going down to 1 prize so they wouldn't be able to pop the magneton.
A few misplays here and there but a very good showing of these two decks that I think have a lot more legs than the community is giving them credit for. This current meta probably isn't the kindest to them but I really feel both have bright futures ahead of em. People underestimate just how absurdly broken 130 to the active and bench x2 is, even with tera types running around everywhere. With Pikachu I wasn't expecting that early of an Iron Hands which surprised me. Keep up the great work these kinds of matches are great fun to watch!
i've been testing hydreigon as well. feels pretty solid to be honest. if you can obsidian twice you can beat any with 2 prizers. and milling your resources is hilarious
ty for the video ! just wondering, why is there a timer if the play is more casual and based around learning how the decks could be played optimally? wouldn’t it be easier to learn if there wasn’t the time pressure? esp since yall are helping each other figure out strategies and talking out ur plays etc etc
We wanted to keep each video around an hour, and it’s just to make it a little more official! But defs still will explain the plays, and go over the strategies!
During the 52:29 mark you couldve blew up the dusknior to take out manaphy then used obsidan flames to claim the last two prizes by either knocking out both noctowls or even rotom magneton nvm thought you had all the energy for obsidian
Hydreigon ex obsidian attack 130 to active and 130 to two of the benched pokemon In the second game you told that 130 to rotom, 130 to nocktowl and last 130 to magneton But its like 130 to active pikachu And other two 130 to two other benched pokemon.
@TheShuffleSquadTCG they will have to put in counters to tera counter or item card whatever that nulls the effect which they may do. The tera ability is pretty flaccid when it comes to fun lol.

Glad you enjoy it!
I'm new to the tcg, and pikachu is going to be my first deck. So I really appreciate you guys playing this!
Welcome to the game!
I feel like both of these decks are too slow for this meta. It was like 5 turns before anything happened.

With the next rotation a Lot of decks Will be slower cause of the F cards
That’s fair!
That’s valid!
Oh, that’s true!
loving the pikachu content, so many different ways to build it
Big facts

Noted!
seconding this!!

Was wondering why too
Could’ve been a better play. Defs still in new deck mode
Will have to review in the future

facts!
The Hydreigon line has the German numbers 1, 2 and 3 respectfully in them.
Deino - ein
Zweilous - Zwei (pronounced Zvei)
Hydreigon - Drei
I appreciate this!

My son pulled a hydreigon ex from a single booster pack he was pretty excited 😊

Is town store not better than vacuum so you have options to use colress tenacity and gain an extra search for neo upper?
could be cool?

Good to know! I appreciate you letting us know!
I plan on upgrading my tinkaton deck with rich energy, its not the best deck but tinkaton is my favorite
That’s a cool idea
100% Deino is pronounced like Dino, the line references German numbers
Good to know!
Well if Hydreigon starts appearing too much I always have my ol’ reliable (not that reliable really) grass decks
lets go!
Hydreigon can destroy decks with low hp pokemon
Won't happen long as we move into tera. Bench sniping is going away pretty much as more tera come put
100%
That’s fsir
Second 🎉
lets go!
That obsidian move will see 0 play as more tera come out
That hydra trashhhhhh card
