JOSEPH, Even when I say the words, it still sounds like it is only coincidence but I am going to say it anyways. I was praying right before you posted this lesson and I specifically used the word rejuvenation in my prayer/meditation as I spoke. I haven't watched alot of your videos but this one jumped out to me! I was in great dread and having the 'Sunday Scaries' over going back to work today. Firstly because I work for the government and the people I work with are definiteky not ones you spoke of choosing to be around or reinforcing what we are learning here. I actually submit myself to the complete opposite every day of what we are trying to do.
Today is my first day back at work since having carpal tunnel surgery (its wearing on my hand just writing this but I felt it is important).
I am writing this for you. Not for me. I want you to know, the work you do matters. In ways you could never see or know.
This teaching and study is one I really needed in this season for so many reasons. I suspect that I will gleen more and more from it as I listen over and over again. Thank you Joseph. Love, wendy

For what it's worth, I've been practicing taichi which I think is a direct practice of the autotelic. Every milimeter of movement is conscious but with attention on body sensations, which is the subconscious. So it's direct cultivation of flow.

What's the first 3 vids to start?
I experience a lot of resistance with affirmations. Often when im done i do feel better , but after that i experience more fear. Is this normal ?
Its your old programming/ego protecting itself. Ignore it and it will die out.
Next time you choose to affirm TRUTH, ask instead. Let me explain. For example, instead of affirming, "I AM SO HEALTHY and SO HAPPY," ask
instead, "Why Am I always so Healthy, and so Happy?" Ask it with feeling and curiosity and conviction, but do not try to answer it. Just Ask it.
Pushing through is not always the answer. Most often people have inner conflicts that need to be cleared in order to move forwards. Most often a person's Higher Self (God Self) will want the evolving Lower Self consciousness to be aware of which "cause and effect actions" that they are still taking or have taken previously that caused and are causing issues. Time and time again I have seen people have miraculous shifts when they clean up their mind.
When a person wakes up they need to understand who there are... who they have become... so that they can change it. Shining a light on their inner self and embarking on a program of revision and clearing is in my humble opinion an ESSENTIAL skill to have in your tool box and in my own case clearing the blocks led to spontaneous healing and natural healing's of issues.
Pushing through into a "well defined and energised new state" will work for some and for others there are "Cause and Effect (AKA Karmic) consequences" that are best cleared.
Clearing your path "raises your consciousness fast" by de-energising the aspects of dysfunctional past. From experience and from what I have observed over many years in this game ... When a person looks in the mirror and heals the shadow and the dysfunctional past then personal evolution accelerates and the Higher Self will unlock new and higher faculties to the individual.
Hope that helps and gives an alternative perspective to ponder on :-)

So we need to be aligned to fulfilling our desires with out thoughts, feelings and actions. You need to align your beliefs and actions to your ambitions. You won't build muscle just thinking about it- you have to take action.
You don't show your faith by your words- you show your faith by your works.

How resting can increase motivation and wellbeing, or an autotelic experience, a simple procedure from affective neuroscience
Procedure: Consistent alternation between a resting protocol (e.g. mindfulness) and the pursuit of meaningful behavior will increase motivation and positive affect (arousal and pleasure).
Explanation: Resting elicits opioid activity, or feels pleasurable, and meaningful behavior, as defined as behavior that has branching novel and positive outcomes (writing that great novel or just making the bed) elicits dopamine activity which causes arousal. The awareness of subsequent meaningful behavior while engaging in relaxation protocols such as mindfulness elicits a ‘priming’ response, namely dopamine release that increases opioid activity, and vice versa, making meaningful behavior seem self-reinforcing or ‘autotelic’.
Although mindfulness reduces discursive thought or mind wandering; it does not inhibit concurrent non-conscious awareness or anticipation of behavior or events subsequent to meditation that can in turn shape or ‘prime’ affective responses during a meditative session. A priming response, like the salivary response that precedes food or the sexual arousal that precedes intimacy, is a preparatory response that often occurs non-consciously, and changes the affective value or ‘feeling’ in the moment. Similarly, relaxing due to ‘being in the moment’ is pleasurable, but if we were told to expect ‘bad’ news or ‘good’ news in the near future, just the awareness of future events is enough to depress or elevate our feelings, but not altering in the slightest our ‘mindful’ or relaxed state. It follows that if mindfulness is paired with the awareness of subsequent positive or meaningful behavior, then rest in mindfulness will have a greater affective tone or ‘feel better’ than if such a prospect was absent. This is perhaps why ‘savoring’, ‘loving kindness’ meditation, and ‘flow’ experiences represent highly pleasurable and arousing experiences that map positive ideation to relaxed states and contrast with a lower level of pleasure during typical states of rest that generally precede a return to meaningless discursive thinking.
