There are many building guides out there, but yours are the easiest to follow. For people like myself, knowing how/why something works makes understanding how to do it easier. A lot of others just throw button combos at you real fast, its like trying to learn the guitar by watching someone shred.

Just got into building in No Man's Sky but I've been building in other games for as long as I can remember. Have thousands of hours in Planet Coaster alone and I've played virtually ever other building game out there. In every building community there are one or two individuals (usually) that go to great lengths to help facilitate the journey for builders new to their game. It's pointedly obvious you are one of those people for NMS. About to binge all your content, lol.
In short - Thank you for taking the time to iterate all these methods even though you've probably gone through the paces for this 100,000 times. I for one, genuinely appreciate it.

The Universal Adjacency Glitch is an absolute banger. Connecting normal floors and walls to prefab buildings was such a hassle for me, when I had to use middle parts (corridor and door) to connect those (and it wasn't even centered). Thank you for putting all of those techniques in one video, Beebs! Great work as always, your tutorials are the best!

I have no idea about glitches, I learn my first one yesterday and Yeah it's really little confusing when you're talking how it used to be ,how it supposed to and how it's now. I had to replay this video like 10 times to understand it, I still dont know how the blender glitch works. But still a good video and huge help for base building ;-)

I wasn't happy with the menu change, I had just begun solving some problems on my own and then that project I was testing out had to be scrapped. However I've been having fun learning a bunch of new stuff like shrinking the exocraft stuff. Great to have them all in one place.

My base computer disappeared yet the base was still there, invisible because I couldn't put another computer down. Someone on reddit suggested Wire Glitching for a fix. Thanks to the community for discovering these glitches for a good game, Hello just needs to polish some more edges.
There are some situations where a part will disappear, but shows again after reloading. It seems when you move your camera (build of Photo) behind structures or terrain, the part behind it are unloaded. Reloading should show it again. But glad either way you found the channel and this guide is helpful! 😊

The adjacency glitch is perfect for building more than three medium refiners in your base in a mould-to-nanite farm.

Hello fellow no man sky builder i found a glitch on my world that has something to do with building im not sure if it has been found or not i you just didn't mention it so imma say it
step 1- dig a hole in the ground with the terrain manipulator
step 2- place two short rage teleporters one in the hole and one out and link them up and power them
but the one in the hole be sure to put a platform below it or you will fall and its not pretty
step 3- fill in the hole DONT LEAVE GAPS
step 4-use the teleporter not underground and if all goes well you you didnt make a mistake/its patched you will be under the barrier that is "ground"
theres a lot of space to take advantage of i have two under the barrier bases they are awesome btw some rules i live by in these places to help me avoid issues bc this place is highly unstable
rule 1 dont go too deep if you go to deep the stuff you put there will be deleted
rule 2 dont go in the dark sea there is water below surface though deep under the water there is a space i call the dark sea it is even more unstable if you go in you will randomly be teleported a little bit above you though sometimes you will be teleported to the surface
rule 2 limit your backpack use if you use your backpack jump it is a risk you are teleported to the surface this risk is minimized the deeper you go
after that the "under world?" is yours and if you do a vid on this shout me out my username is stormoflight1
Great video. All in one..... Although I am looking for adjustable angles for walls. Does the wire string allow for that or is something else needed ?
There are a few different techniques, depending on how clean you want the result to be. Wire glitching is my preferred way.
It is not my priority right now, but I could make a guide about this to give some samples.

I really want to finish this mega build if possible but the straight, angles, and everything in-between is kicking my butt. I gotta stop scaling so large ..... 2 years ago I built a mock-up of Osaka castle,,,, that maxed out before I could decorate the inside. Now it's just a pretty shell to protect from the outside paradise🤣.

A whole load of construction items that I’ve found are not available for me to choose from in the base building inventory. Items such as bubble clusters and other stabilised reality glitches. I’ve found them but am unable to craft them for some reason. Does anyone have any explanation for this please? 🙏🏻
When I look at them in the catalogue I get the feeling I need to do something to unlock the blueprint, it mentions that I need 500 salvage data or something. 🤷🏻

But I have a question... In advance, I say that I am an absolute beginner in glitch-building (hereinafter referred to as GB). I watched your video on the construction of a gold mining plant. And I was very interested in the moment that you put 4 collectors in one there (that is, we see one collector, but there are 4 of them and the output is 4 times higher, respectively). I think in the same way you can increase the number of warehouses in order to collect 8000 gold every 2 hours, and, for example, 96K per day (a random number, everyone has their own tastes and needs).
Questions:
1) what do you press when you put four collectors one on one (or 10 electromagnetic generators are also not a "candle", but 1 in 1, getting almost 1.5K of energy instead of 140+)? Do you just press "Q + Left MB" 4 or 10 times in a row or something?
2) Can the same placement method be used for the biodome? Those. plant not 1 plant in 1 hole, but say 5-10 pcs. in one well (depending on needs). It's just that I don't like to build a bunch of domes, etc., and every hour (or 4 hours) you don't get enough... I would prefer to calculate the required number of plants based on gathering once a day...
3) Did I understand correctly that during construction using GB, resources for construction are spent if they are available, but if they are not, then the construction is free? It’s just that I don’t want to cheat with resources, I prefer to calculate how many buildings you need and build already with resources ....

1) To glitch several parts in the same location, you just keep glitching the item on the same wire connector. You wire glitch 10 times on the same spot. (this can also work with other glitches like Universal Adjacency Glitch).
2) Afaik, you will not have different plant spots if you glitch a lot of biodomes in the same location, but you don't need to, as you can glitch more than one plant in the biodome slots. You can prepare wires in all the plant spots and glitch several plants on the same wire... OR.. simply wire glitch the plants in the biodome on the floor.
3) Yes, due to the nature of the glitch, you will build the part, even if you do not have the resources...
The only exception to that is the CachePin Glitch.
You can always see in the build info screen how many parts you actually can build, and count your glitches.

In principle, I suspected so (an example of a construction site from a video with gold), but I decided to clarify the "correct understanding" before practicing - because. I am new to glitch, so far it works for me at best 1 out of 10 times or even less often. But this is a matter of practice.
As for the plants - I meant the plants themselves (placement of several plants in one hole), and not the bio-dome.
In any case, thank you so much for your videos! Before that, I've only seen glitch in videos from the "Scaling" category (enlargement/reduction of objects for decorating bases, etc.). Now I've got acquainted with other options, but so far, Wire / Reverse Wire Glitch seems to be the most acceptable and relatively simple for me. Although the UAG indicated by you above in the first paragraph will also need to be studied more closely.

Is it still possible to do the "ultimate scaling glitch" in the Waypoint update? I've been unable to do it (haven't played NMS prior to Waypoint so I may not be doing it correctly but just wanted to double check).
For anyone wondering, it is. Playing on PC and was having trouble doing it but I capped my FPS to 30 and that helped a ton (was previously at 120).

I manage to do the big wire and also while ( Q + C) but after, when i click on the big wire, it disapear while it does not disappear when you do you, in your video.

Be sure to be in the right menu when storing a building part in the cache...
The first action in the quick menu should be "Place Wire" after you stored the part in the cache.
It can not be "cycle part"
How do you attach an object to a scaled object? Like how would I place a scaled door on a scaled room?
Sadly Scaled Items do not snap, and doorways don't seem to snap on scaled parts.
The only thing I noticed that scales and snaps, are the Moon Pools.
Is there a way to cleanly do parts upside down glitch like before Frontier patch? I usually enclose my stairs with sloping panels (right angle triangle walls) and stack one upside with the previous adjacency glitch using pavings to turn parts upside down with cylinder or pipe

Edit: It works to put the slopes upside down, but they don’t mesh as easily with the right-side up (non-glitch) piece.
I’ll see if I can combine it with blender glitch.
Try checking the Universal Adjacency, and use the Cube and Pyramid adornment for it, its a rather quick way, I don't have a guide for that technique yet, but here is a link to the universal adjacency tutorial:

There are ways, but there is not a universal solution.
I had an old guide about this but some of it is broken now.

@@Beeblebum Thank you, I found this link on Reddit as well. Nothing works sadly. But, I did manage to power my upscaled bio dome. Maybe you'd like to know. I place a normal sized cuboid room underneath the bio dome which allows acces via a ladder. And when I powered the cuboid room the upscaled bio dome also powered up! The more you know haha. Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

If you glitch it, you will not be limited by the count.
No matter what glitch you use (adjacency, wire or cache) you can build more than the limit.

Can you make a scalable item larger than its normal max scale, I've been trying these methods I dont think it works
None of the parts can be scaled larger than 3 times.
The scaling glitch is just used to scale parts that are not allowed to be scaled.

For the moment, there is still no way to extend beyond 200u...
Many have tried and failed.
The only way we have made longer teleporter jumps is using the teleporter bridge.

I have not tried any glitch building so far...
I would say everything still works, as no one has complained about it in discord.
Check Universal Adjacency Glitch for Scaling otherwise... I prefer that technique.

No Man's Sky is the only game that's started to glitch my hands, I'm now starting to get RSI in my hands and forearms from doing a sh*tload of repetitive things all the time.

There are many ways to build pyramids, both without glitching and of course with glitch building to make it look better.
It seems like these glitches are used to achieve functions which should be implemented into the game by default. Just allow us to scale and snap all objects, I don’t understand the inherent restrictions Hello Games have bound to seemingly random objects.
the ultimate resize glich still seems a mystery to me. How change from the wall to the big wire? This part seems kinda obscure to me.

You often say "Duplicate a part" after you've added a new part to the cache. I'm unclear how you accomplish this?
Duplicating parts is an action that shows in the quick menu. It copies the part you aim at.
I like your tutorial, but sad that we need glitchbuilding to do all these great things withou mods.
