I have to say… as someone that went to one the LA nights. Watching videos of her saying the same thing at other concerts, makes the whole experience a little less special. It’s those little moments during a live show, in between songs and performances where the interaction feels more personal and less of a production. Seeing her say the same thing over and over on different nights just makes it lose a little bit of it’s luster. For me at least. No hate at all. Just wish I wouldn’t have watched any other videos of the concert and just left it at my experience
That's a very valid feeling! Especially since all her little speeches seem so genuine in the mooment, it is kinda strange to think that they are so rehearsed. But at the same time I don't blame her. It must be very stressful/ unnerving to have so many people looking at you/taking videos/live streaming and immortilising your words. And knowing that if you say something wrong or fumble on your way through a sentence, it will probably make front page news the next day!
I understand it, but that's the reason why her shows are so amazing and perfect, bc she works really hard into rehearsing every singles detail
Your experience matters and I definitely understand how you feel; I had a similar experience at a show I went to, thinking the little talks during songs were a real, in the moment discussion… Only to watch the videos of them performing in different locations and saying the same things… It made me feel like what I’d experienced was less real… Then I realized that probably every concert is like that and I just didn’t have much experience, or at least I hadn’t cared about an artist enough before to look up live performances of a show I’d actually been to just because I loved the experience that much and wanted to relive it…
I came to accept that’s just how things are. Really, it’s not like any other aspect like the songs themselves or the immense production is improvised; every aspect of this has been meticulously put together and it’s honestly mind-blowing thinking about how much work and how many people it must have taken to get it to happen… The real magic happens when something goes wrong. Not catastrophic I mean, more comical. Those moments make every individual show unique.
I know it’s not your point but just imagine how crazy it is to think that Taylor and her dancers know exactly where they need to be positioned on stage at all times, I find that crazy. Like in that one song where she needs to just trust that her team is walking up behind her and she can’t look back, she just has to trust they have her back. It’s so cool.
Anyway, even if it is rehearsed, I don’t doubt Taylor means every word, the work and passion is plain to see.

Well not in the literal sense, she is not a wrestler. But in terms of her popularity, she is just as popular, if not more. (Per capita) Kids love her, as well the older folk, just like Hogan was. Taylor takes full advantage of the boom of social media to promote herself, much the same way Hogan took advantage of the advent of cable television back in the 80’s. Hogan was deemed by his peers to be irreplaceable, meaning no one could have stepped in and filled shoes and been just big, much as Taylor is now. The term ‘Swiftomaniac’ should stand as an alternate term for Swifty.
