  • What's it like inside the colorful and playful world of animator/illustrator/sculptor Mike Perry? The Creators Project got a look at his day-to-day experiences, inspirations, and processes. We found out how his work on Broad City and on his own original animated series has allowed him full idiosyncratic self-expression, and how he continuously finds new ways to evoke empathy for objects, blurring lines between the worlds of cartoons and reality.

    I thought this guys stuff was crappy at first, then I was compelled to keep looking him up cuz he influenced other illustrators I really admired, and found he exemplifies that saying attitude is everything. If you are super positive you can only get better, and if people still think you suck after you start to be accomplished, that mean
    s you are really onto something unique.!

    What’s the difference between an “artist” and a “creator”?

    • @danielnsb9428
      @danielnsb9428 4 роки тому +1

      We are all creators of our own being in every moment. An artist isolates a part of this creation and lets us dive into his world of perception.

      We're all a very cliche something. Not recognizing it and thinking you're in possession of some individual immanent originality is also a big cliche.
