I figured this out a while back on my C2. I use ARC HDMI for my receiver and the same thing was happening to me until I set sound to game optimizer.

Hi not sure if you can help me or not but I've got a LG C3 hooked up to my Xbox Series X and when I play games with vrr on and 120hz I seem to get flickering in loading screens and menus but when I switch to 60hz I hary see any flicker? Is this normal or is my TV faulty as I thought the C3 could handle vrr and 120hz?

No issues really with audio drops on mine. Hdmi 4 and my series x were not friends at all on my C2! Should checkout some of my past videos on the topic lol.
You can try moving the xbox to other ports, or even new cables, but I think you may encounter the same issues. Appreciate you watching.

That's not a game mode setting that the picture setting for game, I also don't have this issue with my G4. After watching longer this is just you not understanding how this works 😂
