Disable Control Center from the Lock Screen & Apps on iPhone

- In this tutorial you will learn how to Disable Control Center Access While Using an iPhone.
You can disable access to the control center in two places: access from applications, and access from the lockscreen.
To disable control center in applications go to Settings - Control Center. Turn off Access Within Apps.
To disable it on lockscreen, Go to settings - Face ID & Passcode. Scroll down to Allow access when unlocked, and find the toggle next to Control Center.

Control Center on my iPhone isn't turned off even after I toggle both off. I just finished powering down and powering back up and it's still showing on my lock screen. Is this a potential bug? IOS 16.5.1 (EDIT: I disabled Face ID unlock and now the disablement of the Control Center on my lock screen is gone.)

I have no use for Control Center. I run a network of computer labs in New York and our machines are public facing. Therefore, we do NOT want Control Center so members using our machines do not have the ability to change settings that we so meticulously configure. Why, @Apple do you make it less and less possible to hide/disable/uninstall 'features' that are a total PITA and render any attempt to manage an act of futility. I'm trying to accomplish this on a desktop computer. I gave up on the iPhone. I became so frustrated with it that I chucked it across the room. After it totally smashed, I tossed it into a bag that I don't even remember what I did with. I haven't even seen it since August 2022. The more ya do this, Apple, the less I'm going to use your devices. I already own and do not use a Watch 6, I don't give a damn about my iPhone which was a 10 (they're now on 14 - and I couldn't care less). In fact, I haven't used my MacBook Pro since August 2021! The only device I still use is my iPad, which I like - but iPadOS is becoming a PITA as well, so this one's days might be numbered, too. I've been without my iPhone for a little more than a year now - and I really don't miss it! The ONLY thing I do miss is the camera, but I'm looking for a good point-and-shoot that I can carry around for quick snapshots. iOS became so convoluted and complicated that things that used to take one or two taps now take several steps through labyrinthian menu options that take much longer to navigate and make using it really clumsy. As with anything that is a jack of all trades, it is a master of none. And it isn't novel or even fun anymore. Getting rid of the iPad seems like a definite possibility - because ya know what? I LIKE MY ANALOG LIFE! I don't have any software updates to run, I don't have to worry about what nagging alert is coming in, I don't worry about charging batteries, I don't have to concern myself with information theft, scammers, or the potential of losing it either! My life is so much more uncomplicated, peaceful and less stressful since I ditched all these devices. I compute when I'm in the mood to do it. I don't need to be constantly connected, and I DO NOT want new 'features' foisted upon me because - surprise! Not everyone's use case involves all these services and whatever else they have. I remember when I used a computer that DID NOT have any ads! I remember OWNING the music I listened to and movies I watched. With physical media and hard copies of things, they don't disappear or become incompatible. And let's not overlook the money pit that the apps are. We pay for an app, and in one software update, the app is rendered useless, the company no longer exists, and the money is lost. When I buy something, I expect to have something to show for it. And things are only disposed of when I am ready to do it. I remember what it was like when it was okay to not be 'home'. We used to leave messages, and it was okay if they responded the next day. Unfortunately, I still have to deal with this stuff because of my job. But for that, I wouldn't participate in technology at all. The takeaway: everyone has their breaking point. And as we all reach that point in our own time, these tech companies won't know what to do. They can't track me, they can't advertise to me, they can't even text me, and they have no business prying into my private life. Have you ever thought of something, and then seen an ad for it on Google? Have you ever been talking to someone about a topic specific, and then see news and content about that very thing? It's spooky, it's intrusive, it's a violation, and it's WRONG. Count me OUT.
So what are you saying here, the only thing that links you to the digital world at the time of writing your comment is your iPad and works computers? Or you have a another device, a phone? If so what is it? I ask because I got roped into the iPhone life by a friend and at the time I was willing because I wanted to experience the brand first hand but I got to tell you, all of what you’re saying is true. Apple has gone down a wormhole. A dark one that a lot of people won’t be able to even see they’re in because everyone is just humming through life, gobbling up everything that companies sell them. Anyway, I just hope you’re still on this app, maybe I can learn a thing or two from you. ✌️
