Yup which is why the listener should "agree" then marry or become a concubine to Philheim. If one cannot marry for love then one shouldn't marry a puppet to protect one's country. Better to have the ear of the real ruler to have a better chance at protecting it. How does Philheim know our yandere wont betray him, he doesn't, so he will only keep him till he isn't useful anymore.

The Heir losing her childhood friend to the horrors and brutality of war is so tragic, and he doesn't realize how painful that alone must be for her.

I don't like him on a personal level, but politically I can agree with his steps. Like, he's a genius with what he's done and what he's planning even if he's a bit... aggressive. Im pissed at him because he fails to see that fullhaim will take over our kingdom and become king himself while he could kill Silus and maybe take us as his bride or concubine, I understand how sad and difficult that war was for him but this is not the best choice, the people in the kingdom will lose independence and their identity and fullhaim can make them all submit to him making them do force work to supply the empire 😩

I love part 2 i swear it was so emotional for me. How they had mentioned their childhood and comparing that time to now. Can't believe how amazing this part was. (don't mind me still simping over the accent)
I'm really hoping that the other kingdom did something really fucked up to us that our man's doesn't know about. If so that would be amazing. Like he's trying to protect us and stuff and then realizes that he sided with the people who caused us the most pain in our lives.
This will end with her trying to kill him, with him killing her in self defense out of instinct, then killing himself. At least I think that's a possibility.
This is such a good story, i can't wait to see more of it! If you add in dungeon ambience like what you use for D&D, it just makes it THAT much better!

His humanity is practically gone after he was tortured but then he held his sanity together for his loved one. And now we have difficult choice to help him to secure the safety of the kingdom or to not help him... Welp ∠( ᐛ ∠) I’ll just have to wait and see what happens next in part 3!
I just got back from shopping for cat stuff and I am greeted by my yandere king? YAS PLEASE 😍😍😍 EDIT: What I love abt this audio is how it shows the change from being naive children to morally gray adults. However, their chosen side is still showing to how the characters are acting. Silus is being the evil for the kingdom's safety, while the heir is being portrayed the hope for the impending tyranny
Making us assimilate into The Empire would erase EVERYTHING that we are, and if he loved us he wouldn't want that. But on the other hand, it would protect our people and our kingdom. I love/hate the feelings of confliction I have for this series! It's SO good! It's TOO good!

Im pissed at him because he fails to see that fullhaim will take over our kingdom and become king himself while he could kill Silus and maybe take us as his bride or concubine, I understand how sad and difficult that war was for him but this is not the best choice, the people in the kingdom will lose independence and their identity and fullhaim can make them all submit to him making them do force work to supply the empire 😩

Silus is one hell of a character ya made there, the split in his character is just simply *chef kiss 👌. His humanity is practically gone after he was tortured but then he held his sanity together for his loved one. And now we have difficult choice to help him to secure the safety of the kingdom or to not help him...

EDIT: What I love abt this audio is how it shows the change from being naive children to morally gray adults. However, their chosen side is still showing to how the characters are acting. Silus is being the evil for the kingdom's safety, while the heir is being portrayed the hope for the impending tyranny
