  • Staff members with Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation have been using a Sweco 380 to build hiking and biking trails around Pima County. Most recently, they used the Sweco 380 to build the McKenzie Ranch Trails Park, which features 13 ½ miles of trails, including a 10-mile mountain biking race course. With a Sweco and mini excavator, volunteers can build a trail four to five times faster than building a trail by hand.

I worked for the pima county parks and recreation in the seventies as a blacksmith, welder when the trails were started ... they were built by hand and i stretched many worn picks back to length for more use in a forge .

Good job! Thanks to everyone who helped!! Very disturbing reading someone ran a cable across the trail in an attempt to harm cyclists. They must be caught!!
