Great video, even better playing. I like how you showed your presets/tweaks to give new players like myself a way to "shape" the tones and why you go up/down etc on certain things. The topics screen at 2:36 was helpful. I just got this as a gift, and the choice paralysis is overwhelming at times. But at least I KNOW , with just a few tweaks (and a ton more practice) I can get close to my guitar heroes. Thank you for sharing your skills and tones. Your videos are great. Hi Leo, I just found your channel and subbed. I've been watching some of your older videos and the varying sound level of your voice has made it difficult to hear what you were saying. So I am very happy that the sound in this video is extremely good.
Thank you Dave, I really appreciated your sub!!! I received some messages about the sound levels and I've tried to fix them...happy to hear from you that they are fine! Thank you once more!
Hi Leo, many thanks for your beautiful sounds and detailed reviews as always. These videos are very helpful! May I raise a question on Helix Stomp Box, POD Go and GT1000 - that which one has the best dynamic response similar to tube amps based your tests please? Cheers!
Hi Jimmie, tank you so much, I happy you like the music and the video! Well, the HX stomp and the POD GO share the same exact sound engine, so there is no difference in terms of sound. Furthermore they share the same sound engine also with the Helix LT. Therefore you can check out this video, where I compare the dynamic response of the Helix vs the GT 1000: ua-cam.com/video/dCOoxrkCm5M/v-deo.html Thank you!

Hi Leo I need to ask you for a courtesy ... it is easy for me to use the pod go ... but I have a difficulty ... I did not understand how to use the tap tempo to manage the repetitions of the delay ... I bend better .. . I am used to a delay nova repeater in pedalboard and I just press on the tap to establish the timing of the repetition ... That is, the delay I set by pressing the tap is what I find myself in the effect ... so for example I can put 5 bars of "echo" in 4/4 ... typical of Gilmour or U2 ... but on pod go I just can't manage the delay like this ... can you help me? I can set the delay only by setting the parameters 1/1 - 1/4 - 1/8 - 1/16 according to the BPM but it doesn't give me the effect of 5 beats in 4/4 to do this I have to adjust the milliseconds with the wheel but it is uncomfortable and slow I prefer the tap absolutely and I am sure it can be done ... thanks a lot of greetings
I owned the Mooer GE 250, the Hotone Ampero and ended with the Pod Go. The Pod Go sounds and feels so much better and it's so easy to find your sound. Thumbs up for Line6. Very good Video Leo, but you should give more informations for the live playing Musician. Will it be a winner live or suck. There are so many reasons for buying a unit like this.
It looks like I arrived early (2.30 am at my country jaj), just the review I was expecting :') I'm almost decided for the POD Go, great Helix sounds and userfriendly interface for a fraction of the price (but It will arrive on September with the line 6 dealer). Great song Leo, nice vocal melody and soloing. R.I.P. Maestro Morricone :'(. P.D. You should make your 2 cents a dollar jaja.
😊 2 dollars....very funny😊😊😊 Hi Alvaro, it would be cool / interesting if you could share you experience: Did you order the Pod GO directly from Line 6? Is it really taking so long to be delivered to you? Thank you!
It is too tempting to just get the HX stomp for a little more money, and this is barely any upgrade from $200 Boss GT-1. Still, pretty good. I would NOT want this to be my best multi-effects unit in my collection. Thanks for such a detailed review and great music compositions.
Hey Leo, can you also tell me what is your recording setup, what sound card do you use? how is the performance of the mixer connected to the DAW, are you using the ASIO driver things like that. Really need your advice here. I am using a Yamaha MG 10xu connected via USB to the computer, the latest driver update has messed up my whole setup and i hear cracks and pops in audio playback throughout the system and sometimes the audio player hangs....any advice is helpful...
Hi, these two videos explain a little bit my setup: ua-cam.com/video/DTW8IBPHWPY/v-deo.html. ua-cam.com/video/uN-QTCQ6gIw/v-deo.html I'm using a Mac, so no ASIO drivers are required. If you hear cracks, there could be two problems: the audio buffer is too small or you have problems with the clock. In your Digital Audio Workstation you should be able to set the buffer size, and you should be sure that the frequency set in the DAW is the same of the one set in the mixer (for instance 48khz). Hope this help, thank you for your message!
