Most rpgs bore me, however tactical rpgs can be really fun and this story looks very in-depth
3:30 the narrator lived up till this day for the sole purpose of saying that sentence I just know it

I wasn't super sold on this game when it was first revealed, but I'm absolutely loving what they've shown us. I've always been kind of exasperated by games that have selling points like "your choices matter", but then each route of the game are nearly identically with only small changes or different endings. I'm hoping that this game will be different and will actually have noticeable variations in the gameplay / story based on what decisions you make. That way it'll be fun to replay through the story multiple times to see new things, recruit different characters, etc.
the demo did show off a good point that your choices do matter
Even the choice to not trigger any traps in the map where you try to keep lance guy matters, even though it’s a minor cutscene
Well it's only so much that game devs can allow to be changed by dialogue choices or players actions. If devs tried giving us too much freedom with changing every little thing that we do it'd end up being a confusing mess. Either that or too ambitious and they'd have to cut corners to make it work. Not saying it wouldn't be nice but realistically i just don't ever see it happening much if at all.
Have you check divinity sin 2? You have the freedom to do almost anything there which will lead to different experience every playthrough. :)
After playing this game… we need a prequel set during the Saltiron war following Benedict, Erador, and Symon. Groma and Archibald could too. (I’m not sure how old Maxwell is.)

Haha, yeah. I love when I'm clearly at the end of a game, and I'm like, nope can't use this mega potion, only got 99 of em left. Need to use 72 regular potions to heal first.

Fell in love with the game's art and style since day one announcement. I can't wait for this soon to be classic to be released!

My most anticipated game of 2022! Please bring us more in this style. I'd love Octopath Traveler 2, a port of the Octopath Traveler Prequel to the Switch, etc. These types of games are my favorites.

@@steveqi9309 Yeah but it's a Japanese exclusive mobile game. It's called Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.
The dragon quest III remake is going to use this same style.

My first thought of the rare limited resources is that we have seen in other demos you can loose party members through choices, imagine using one and the person leaves you after, people are going to hoard those or just spend them all on mister main character Serenoa cause he wont leave you.

They'll probably do what Langrisser 2 did where x party member will say "hey if you do this I'm leaving." That's if they implement that feature ar all.
Yeah that is a concern when I heard of 'limited resources'. Because it's definitely clear your choices will affect your party.

Perfect name for the game. Triangles have long been associated with deep mature themes.
I was a fair bit concerned when I didn't see a job change system, but now that we have something resembling that, I have more faith now.
I'm thinking it's going to be much more akin to the old fire emblems, where it's a progression between two choices rather than whatever class you want
@@EigoSensei I prefer that way anyway. Newer FEs make it so the growths and personal skills of units matter more which causes a more wide gap imo.

I highly doubt this'll happen though. Knowing SquareEnix, they'll probably sell them separately at a high price.

Team Asano hasn't let me down yet and I have the upmost confidence in them, but still I gotta say this. I really hope this ends up being good. I'm absolutely in the mood for a new TRPG, and this being in the HD-2D engine (a look I really like) only makes me more excited for it.

Looks good. I just REALLY wish that they have more effort on the name. Triangle Strategy is the equivalent of not naming it Rice Krispies, but rice flake cereal.

This was already my most anticipated game of this year and the more trailers that come out, the more excited I am of the game coming out.

Oh. Very much yes! I’m very keen on getting my hands on this one day to try out. It looks like it had so much heart and effort put into it - it was like getting to experience the magic of FF: Tactics all over again but with so much more! I think this game will do the genre incredible justice!

But honestly it kinda just sounds like a vaugly generic fantasy title, Triangle Strategy stands out with its mundanity, continueing the tradition of bravely default titles.

In the interim you should try playing some of the Tactics Ogre games. They were a precursor to FFT.
It pretty much is fft, visually speaking. 😌 I just love the vertical dimension of the battles.

Sounds like Serenoa was recast? Shame they couldnt improve with the original VA but I'm glad they did something about it at least. That was probably my biggest complaint about the demo

That's a shame but the fact that i didn't notice it instantly means the new VA still has the same feel which which makes me happy
I went back checked the other 2 trailers and it is in fact the new Serenoa VA in those trailers as well
Up until the TGS Trailer (the "Challenge your convictions" one) his voice is still the old VA. We'll have to wait until they dropped the second demo to see if he actually improved
