Dear Simon Kibe, thankyou for your jail initiative. we have a friend who was recently jailed for 100 yrs in Kamiti on charges of defilement. We have been very sad with the judiciary as it did not call his witnesses to stand . There was no medical examination on the "defiled" boys. We are also aware of the way they had been told to tell their story, they themselves did not realize what would happen to this man and now they are shocked and his side of the story and witnesses were not even called. furthermore we know that the stories were created because there was a lot of money to be gained by another party. We were actually in shock. The case is now appealed but I am shocked by Kenya

Wat Simon kibe is saying is true. I know of one ex prisoner. His wife was taken by another man while he was still in jail.Tha man is very disciplined. He didn't want anything that could take him back to jail so he had to let go of his wife and marry again. He is now a great carpenter and people love him very much.
