There is actually a time when Zecora can’t rhyme. In the episode, A Health of Information” Zecora catches this cold called “swamp fever” while helping Fluttershy. If a pony catches swamp fever, she will slowly turn into the tree that provides it spreading it even more. While laying in bed, when Fluttershy and Twilight visit her, she tries to, but all of a sudden can’t rhyme.
