You will get time for study for sure.. But as we all know the level of UPSC EXAM. EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU.

एक division ke under 3,4 rms office आता है और EK HRO OFFICE, EK DIVISION OFFICE, SECTION(TRAIN), TMO, JOINING KE SAMAY APKO RMS OFFICE ME POSTING मिलेगी, जब APKA 5 YRS KA SERVICE COMPLETE HO JAYEGA, USKE BAD HRO, DO , SECTION ME KAM करने KA मौक़ा मिलेगी।

@@thesortingassistant2118 sir can you explain the work of Gds in RMS ,like work profile,time,salary,time shift, promotion test?
Main work is bag handling like loading and unloading, bag opening, letter facing, bags sorting, paper stamping etc.
After three year of service you can attempt Departmental exam for MTS Post.
Initial salary will be about 15K.
Generally gds staff duty alloted at busy hour of rms office like in evening and morning. You can opt duty hour as per your convenience but it totally depends on administration of that office.

@@aamirraza6816 no, almost all official work is done in english. Thora बहुत problem hoga language ko ले kr but you will manage.. language problem front counter pe duty देना se hogA. Lekin apko counter duty nhi v de sakta h due to language issue

khane pine ka keya scene raheta he in 36 hr ke duty me or rest ka karne kiliye dete he??
Yha pe twelve hrs ke journey me hardly 4 hrs ka kam hota h.. bache time ko aap khane pine, rest karne me Lagaye. 12 hrs ke bad aapko 12 hrs ka rest time milta h. Jis station pe aap ka us din ka duty pura hota h vha pe rest house hota h. Vha pe ek staff hoga jo ki apke लिए apke marji ka khana banayega. Phir next day apka return duty HOGA. Vha v hardly 4 hrs ka kam hoga. Phir evening tk aap apne source station pahuch jate h . Iske bad 3 दिन ka rest hoga. Phir 4th day next duty hoga.

Ye job profile sunkar to halat kharab ho gaya hai..train se 12 hr journey from sealdah to njp with worst possible train toilet and no AC..why they dont arrange ac in this compartment..it will take a huge toll on your body specially in this summer with urine smell emitting off..if i get this duty it will be disastrous..can i change it by requesting to supervisor
