For all the crap we've been giving Rory lately (not undeservedly to be fair), we can be certain that the only reason the two are friends is because Rory has been very kind and patient with Paris, who was awful to her early on. Paris mellowed, and that's important too, but most important was Rory's ability to not hold a grudge.
I love Madeline and Louise having a non-toxic friendship and always showing up together.. it's wholesome and you just know they have eachothers backs :)

Rory was barely ever in stars hollow and whenever she saw Lane it was always a little awkward. They were living two completely different lives and drifted apart. Rory was closer to Paris and her college friends + Logan.

At first I laughed about how you made it seem like it was war… But then I think back about how hard I fought for Catra and Adora to be a couple and I can indeed confirm it is a battle. I’ve never seen the show in its entirety do they get together?
Gilmore Girls has quite a not like the other girls problem but I always thought they did good by making Madeline a bit of a valley girl stereotype while still making her kind and smart. Louise also always stuck with and took care of her friend.

Would’ve been great if Madeline and Louise kept popping up unexpectedly throughout the series.
