I've had NEE for a long time. It was a real growth stock for a few years. The yield was barely above 2% and they did a 4:1 stock split. However, in the last five years the stock hasn't done much, but they always raise their dividend 8-12% a year. The 70B debt load is getting worrisome. I'm going to continue to hold my shares because of the growing dividend.
LIking NEE for a utility play. The debt seems high and really my only concern. I assume their financials will benefit greatly from lowering interest rates (hopefully by Q4 2024). I'll start scaling in soon! Thanks as always!!
A lot of these type of Companies will benefit from rate cuts (in my opinion) the real question is at what point to start scaling in. My pleasure my friend 😃

I would add this to my dividend portfolio if it ever falls below $50. This seems like a good long-term hold for me.

I'm swing trading this with Puts and Calls and making a little profit but not planning to buy and hold
Why is the company moving in a downtrend if the financials are good? Is it because of the high interest rate?
Yes it looks that way. I’ll try and bring out an updated review of them today.
