Volvo EC230 Electric debuts in France with Bouygues Travaux Publics.

We are breaking new ground on the first project for our EC230 Electric excavator in France. Watch as we help our customer Bouygues Travaux Publics achieve a #circulareconomy approach on a large stud farm outside Paris. As the first electric excavator of this size class, together we are setting the standard for the decarbonization of construction across the French market.
Bertrand Capelle, Equipment Director at Bouygues TP, said: “We are very proud to have been chosen by Volvo CE to be the first to test out the EC230 Electric in France. It is actually a first for us to be able to operate a battery-powered, as opposed to grid-connected, machine.”
