I think putting the parts together first, and making the seams as small as possible would be a better strategy. You can always shave the pegs off later to make the model fit on the stand. Would save time.
I tried that with Timber and he wasn’t close to fitting on the base. The base is sculpted in such a way that the feet sit on it in a very specific location. If I had tried to shave the pegs, I would have also had to re sculpt the location on the base where the feet sit and then figure out a way to secure the feet (ie posts). This would have been a ton more work than just filling a larger gap in the pants.
great to see you
Nice to be back!
Glad to see you're back at it. You nailed it, those are called supports in 3D printing.
Thanks Rich!

Beautiful project! Can't wait to see them painted.
Never let anything stick to your tool....keep it wet...cause it hurts coming off when dry 😜
like always you are a Master 👏👏👏
Quite an honor coming from a Jedi Knight!
I do commission 3d printing and painting. And sometimes the prints warp when being printed which will account for the variation.
If you buy some iv resin it can help with smoothing areas that have defects from support removal.
Here we go again happy to see you happy new year
