I was just screaming "Armor! Get something with armor!" for the entirety of that last match. Would have made the mustangs a joke. instead of linked health on the balls. Even more effective vs you, a lvl one unit with armor would have been immune to your stangs.
@@greuju I'm interested to know how armor wouldn't work? Seeing as the vast majority of units on the field wouldn't be able to touch them and they would be agro locked.
I completely agree with your last comment. I mostly play solo these days as you end up playing against meta strategies all the time which means you miss out on awesome meme builds!
For the second match, why didn't you put your storms right behind the crawlers? If they can fire at the marksmen as soon as the match starts, they'd also hit his mustangs moving forward.
Counterable. I do that too. The counter to this I've used is to upgrade the crawlers with the attack 200% early and get levels on them. Then late game subterranean. Sledges with armor take forever to kill too. Force them to go balls then build boats.
Also one thing with the mustang strat is you want another pack of chaff in the front to the mid right. So it pulls more of his chaff toward you giving you an easier win on the far tower.
If you opponent doesn't have any units in front of the tower ( the tower you were attacking on the left ) and you put stormcallers down that will automatically target the tower with their first Salvo and destroy the tower instantly
Second game when you go storms pheonixes work better. Storms are decent as a stop gap to preserve hp. Pheonix with energy shield get free levels off marksman
