    Sir could you please solve the below problem
    a rectangle rcbeam is 25cm wide and 40 CM deep. if it has 2-25 mm TOR steel bars in compression at an effective cover of 40 mm, determine the additional moment of resistance provided by the compression steel. assume same grade of steel in tension and M 25 concrete

    How did u get the value of fsc. There is no such table in is code. Isn't the value of fsc= 0.85fy (approx)

      I assume you mean to say volume, Volume of concrete will depend on the beam size.

      So I am asking this ......bt I don't know sir how to find the persontage of concrete

      There will be minimum and maxmimum percentage of steel, but of concrete i dont think any code has mentioned specifically for concrete
