Thank you so much for making videos on Nakshatras 🙏🏻, I have Mars in Pushya , and even my name sounds so close with Indra- Inga. And yes, I work for public serving the city in a Municipal Court.
Sun & Mercury in Pushya here; a lot of this resonated quite well. Thank you sir. 🙏 - I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra.
Semi-random question, but is there a way to calculate your birthdate on the site to have it display tropical instead of sidereal? I know it's a contentious topic, and I'm still pretty new to astrology, but the tropical placements make much more sense and have always seemed more accurate (at least in my case). Curious to explore the site and learn more, but I'd like to have the option to look at the placements I've always known and learning about them more, before progressing to exploring sidereal to see if it resonates. Thank you!
In the Spirit of Pushya, good things come to those who wait. 🙏 You've touched on an important aspect of astrology-the difference between the tropical and sidereal zodiac systems. The tropical zodiac, used mostly in Western astrology, is based on the seasons and is fixed to the Earth's orbit around the Sun. The sidereal zodiac, common in Vedic astrology, is aligned with the fixed stars and constellations. Over thousands of years, these systems will not align the same way due to the precession of the equinoxes. This is a slow rotation of the Earth's axis that changes the position of the stars and constellations relative to the Earth. Here's how it affects astrology: 1. **Precession**: The Earth's wobble causes a shift in the constellations' positions in the sky, changing by about 1 degree every 72 years. 2. **Zodiac Misalignment**: This movement leads to a growing gap between the tropical zodiac (based on the seasons) and the sidereal zodiac (based on the stars). 3. **Future Changes**: In the long term, this means that the signs as we know them in both zodiacs will drift apart. They won't align as they do now, and in about 26,000 years, due to a full precessional cycle, they would align again. 4. **Constellation Shifts**: Even when they realign, the constellations won't appear the same due to the individual movement of stars. Astrology websites usually allow you to calculate your chart in either the tropical or sidereal zodiac. Look for an option in the settings or preferences of the site you're using to explore your familiar placements. Reflecting on both the tropical and sidereal systems, it's the light of Awareness, not the march of time, that reveals our true path. 🙏 Astrology is Jyotish, 'the science of Light ☀️,' not 'Kalish,' a measure of time. ⏰ May this light guide your understanding. 🙏
