I live in Texas....outside of San Antonio....in Guadalupe County. There was a damn break that impacted at least three lakes down here and it still isn't fixed. People on the lakefront properties.... water levels extremely low not to mention the impact to wildlife fishing...hope they can fix it...another item to consider...is it a natural or manmade lake? What feeds into the lake? Who maintains it? Who owns it? Seems like a COOP here Guadalupe River Valley Authority is responsible for management and upkeep...headaches for those people who lost value in their lakefront properties...not to be doom and gloom but something to research and consider. And we are in a drought....boat ramps closed and record low water levels.

Thank you for your excellent comment, and that's certainly something worth considering. Fortunately, on Vancouver Island, it rains for most of the winter, replenishing our reservoirs. Vancouver Island is also characterized by a mountain range with snow-capped peaks, which contributes to the water supply in our lakes, especially from the middle to the northern part of the island, where snowmelt is abundant. Essentially, we reside in a sub-temperate rainforest in the Pacific Northwest, but it can become dry, leading to concerns about wildfires. Love Texas btw. :)

Physical amenities should not include your preferential amenities. I feel like a wasted my time watching a video.
