Nice! I also have a report on this flight. I flew to Madeira during the 2022 Easter Holidays. I departed Gatwick from the exact same gate however with an easyJet A320.
The seats on the newer 320neos are thinner but still comfortable because they have modern leather. EasyJet has simplified the cabin features, the seat pocket is pretty small but better than Ryanair, there is’t any proper hot food the menu is small, but lots of legroom.
@@o.k_aviation5732 Thank you! I’m a larger lady so a bit worried about the seat size so it’s good to know they’re on the smaller side. Flying on an a321 (hopefully) but if they’re bigger than Ryanair then I shouldn’t have much of an issue I don’t think 🤣 Thanks again!
@@o.k_aviation5732 I have read that the seats are slightly wider, it’s just nice to have an actual human input rather than facts 🤣 Thanks again! The sites look helpful and your review has really helped. I’m very nervous about flying and I’m also flying from Gatwick so your video has calmed my nerves 😀
The a321neo does tend to be more exposed to gusty winds because the aircraft is larger than the original model, the distance from the cockpit to the centre and the plane length is a factor too. However is not noticeable on most flights, at Madeira (where it is prone to winds) it can be noticed if you fly a lot tho. It’s not a big problem tho so nothing to worry about :)
Awesome video! It's so good to be able to fly places again now, gotta love the A321's too, They have done a good job on their layout in the cabin, I like seat 2F on the A321s :-)
Unfortunately I didn’t record a trip for the return flight because it was over night but I would be able to publish the takeoff/landing footage as I flew on a different aircraft: the EuropeCar a320ceo. Also we performed a rather smooth tailwind landing into Gatwick :)
@@AirportPlaneSpotting IAG have ordered the max now hopefully it won’t get allocated to BA. Though it could very much be allocated to BA to replace its old Gatwick fleet
Excellent really enjoyed watching, made me feel as though I was there on the aircraft, great quality filming 👍
Thank you :)

Wow some happy passengers on there!! Also as you disembarked I love the distinct noise of Airbus brake fans.
Great video. Also you can call me weird but I love the sound of suitcase wheels going over that bit at the top and bottom of escalators
No I think that’s totally rational :)
ASMR inducing perhaps?
Great video but the people reaction and landing was the funniest and best part.
Yes, simply embarrassing

Did you have a phone holder attached to the window or did you hold it by hand ?
All my footage was hand filmed :)
I flew to Turin later in the day on G-UZHG. Was so windy on departure
Wow, it was quite a gusty departure, but I think a weather front did move in after I flew.
@@o.k_aviation5732 Yep indeed it was. Then we landed back a week later in Storm Franklin which was fun but gusty lmao
Have you been to madeira before?
No im just Jk lol
Im from there and im gling in the 23rd of July (8 days) and im really exited, did u like it?
How did you find the seats on this plane? Random question I know, but I’ve never flown before and will be flying next week on one of these!

What’s the turbulence like on the a321 neo and the a320 neo?

WILL THERE BE A RETURN FLIGHT FROM FUNCHAL TO LONDON?

@@o.k_aviation5732 That’s the plane I flew on from my flight back from Funchal. Landed at around 00:30
I hate it when people clap whenever the plane lands. Like… have you never flown before?
Yes exactly that’s how aircraft get back to the ground and airplanes fly all the time daily just like trains and buses so!
Well done for "doing your job" it's like clap for NHS Embarrassing
Such a nice airline, one day i will work for easyjet, i will pilot thèse oranges birds..
I am scared to fly I do this route every year same airport with easyjet mostly a320 but I’m scared of flying
4:05 this plane caught fire in LAS VEGAS in sept 2015
Ah yes thanks for reminding me I didn’t realise this was the aircraft!
I either go BA Club Europe or any low cost Airbus carrier. Since Ryanair got the 737 Max, I will never fly with them again.
I do avoid Ryanair where fares allow😅, I believe they take ultra low cost to a new level with the 737 max!
I’m just…. Never flying on a 737 max. Not risking it

Wished someday be there LoL 😂
