As a kid many decades ago I used to mixed the seeds with another plant to color my nails. We were not allowed to use nail polish so I used the natural dye instead. Still got in trouble.

    Betacaroteno good source.
Can add the seeds to your favorite oil to cook and put an interesting color in your fryes or soups, rice or wathever you prepare.
UV rays good filter, you can add the seeds (smashed) in your sunblock or in your water or oiled base skin liquid, milk, or cream to protect you. Even the color stain your clothes (not permanently your skin)
Or in an emergency case, smash the seeds with your hands and touch all your exposed skin, if you forgot the solar filter.

This plant is called Achiote tree, with a scientific name as BIXA ORELANA L. in the Family Bixaceae. This tree is a source of orange-red condiment or ANNATTO used in cooking dishes. People in some countries use as lipstick. Cambodians called this tree as CHOUMPOU CHROLUOAK. Thank you Sros and your brother for sharing this amazing video to us.

This anato seed was used as a seasoned spice when fried in oil or ground into powder. My dad used it to add to various recipes like his specialty called miki (?) a noodle dish with shredded chicken, diced pork shrimp or ebi and chow fun noodles. The Puerto Ricans used it to add to their pastele and ganduri rice (spanish rice). I've never thought of it as a fruit-more like an herb?
