Yash ji, that's an awesome point you have raised. You and some others may already know what led to the 2018 judgment but it still does no harm and prolly helps to recount that the 2018 judgment arose as a conseq. of the landmark 2017 judgmt. by a 9-Judge-Bench of the Supreme Court that interpreted the Constitution of India to explain that-while previously privacy may have been INCORRECTLY said to be a nonfundamental right-it indeed always was and now EXPLICITLY is acknowledged as fundamental right, more fundamental than the Constitution itself (the judgmt. is पढ़ने योग्य, those who have not read it, should read it). The 2017 judgmt. then goes on to explain what "privacy" connotes, to say that individual choices do not need to fulfill "the test of popular acceptance" (think of consensual sex or marriages or items of clothing frowned on by sections of society) and also to say that privacy is sacrosanct "even in public places". My favorite line in the judgmt. is "certain rights are so fundamental that they need to be insulated from the (possible) disdain of the majorities". (Paraphrased) Privacy, as such, includes the choice to find sex, love, family, home and hearth as per one’s own wishes (keeping in mind the preexisting laws of age and consent). The 2018 judgmt. was a ramification of the 2017 judgmt. that overturned many older cases’ judgmt.s and dare I say, both judgmt.s left many of us with a moist eyes and emboldened spirit. Thanks again for your comment, Yash ji. Peace and Jai Hind. 🇮🇳☺️♥️
Forget about Women sexual desire, In India many people don’t know the basics of sex and 98-99% of them have gathered knowledge regarding sex from porn movies. Then in reality how is it possible to know something about the opposite partner sexual desire if there is no basic sex education in our education system and not even discussed by parents as well. First the basic things should be implemented that made sex education compulsory in every educational institute and then discuss about other things related to physical pleasure. Then only this taboo will get removed or else it will stay as taboo for forever.

I was quite shocked to know that we were the one who were most open about sex and didn't consider this as just a basic need. Way to go Mohak ! Top notch content.🙏
Mostly reasons for this are- 1. Biological limitations of men (we can change that till an extent but it does come with side effects ) 2. Education system 3. Communication there are many women and men who are too shy to reveal their inner feelings that's the main cause Newer gen of men are kinda understanding these things...
I agree with some of your points and disagree with others. 1. Women having pleasure spots is something that anyone with common sense should realise. No debate on that. 2. There is a bias/discrimination in how we show/treat sexual scenes for men and women. As a society, we should make a choice whether to openly embrace both of them or disregard both of them. Take Hollywood movies for comparison, they rarely objectify women unlike us and when they do, it is for comedic purposes and does include scenes for women too. 3. Uncomfortability in talking about sex with families is something that is present in all societies. It's not really an Indian thing. 4. When we are modernising, we should avoid making the mistakes made during the third wave of feminism. Society should embrace women seeking pleasure but need not glorify them. When we consider playboys as immature people looking for fun, we should consider playgirls in the same light and not as role models.

They said " my brother hurt me , broke my lag , stop me to go out , murdered me , marriage , relatives also hurt , villagers hurt me , etc etc . Indian society is a conservative society indeed.., People here hesitates to even say the word " Sex"... if a woman/girl wants to explore her sexuality it would take seconds for people to start calling her names....criticizing and judging her morals ,values and character assassination... accepting something as natural as desires that humans have irrespective of their genders should not be a big deal ... acknowledgement and acceptance is needed for healthy interpersonal relationships...

As far as my knowledge goes, men do care about women's pleasure, especially that of their their significant other. Because for men it's a matter of their pride, their ego to be able to satisfy their partners. They're ready to accept their inability to satisfy their partners mentally or emotionally, but they really don't want to disappoint when it comes to sex..!
The problem is lack of communication, women are bad at expressing what they really want and feel it as some sort of apshakun when it comes to asking male partner to do it in the way she likes. How are we supposed to know what you want without giving a clear picture of it or just giving hints that only a telepathic can understand.

@@trinuuu the reason I've seen so far is that implementing the law wouldn't stop child marriages anyway (which is the reason cited for increasing age in the first place) and hence instead of increasing the age limit we should focus on development, awareness, increasing opportunities, etc. Personally although I agree with this I still think it should be raised anyway so that those families which are on the sort of rural-urban border that still *prefer* to get women "married off" early on won't do so since it's illegal. kya hi bole

I was quite shocked to know that we were the one who were most open about sex and didn't consider this as just a basic need.
Way to go Mohak ! Top notch content.🙏
Mostly reasons for this are-
1. Biological limitations of men (we can change that till an extent but it does come with side effects )
2. Education system
3. Communication there are many women and men who are too shy to reveal their inner feelings that's the main cause
Newer gen of men are kinda understanding these things...
Kudos to you Mohak.. for bringing this topic into mainlight.. the society is trying to liberalise by discussing these topics which is a positive thing

If she is 12 or 13 it's alright...when I was 12, I was the most innocent boy in the entire world...but now 💀
Sex education is important to reduce rape case in India otherwise it's not that muck important at 20-21 age you get all knowledge

Mohak really brings out topic that most of the Indians doesn't know about it. Thankyou for the hardwork. ❤
I'm from bundelkhand Jhansi and mohak is absolutely true. In our houses, this ceremony happens in villages in which whole male family goes with the groom for wedding to girl's home and in their absence all the woman come together and makes a ceremony which in our bundelkhandi language is called "जुगिया" In this ,they do sexual comments on teenage girls and make them realize that it is a part of your life and explore sexuality ! !
That is really good thing but as we are going educated,we are loosing these things and ceremonies ........ Even I thought that it's a shit before seeing this video ........
Sometime I even become confuse that we are growing or we are declining in mental growth !!!!
Thanks mohak!!! that's why you are favourite of me because you touch those things no one touch's !
Ancient India basically had no rigid dogmas around anything, except maybe cannibalism as they were called Rakshasha and are beaten red and blue in every ancient story ever. Great video ❤❤❤❤
Cannibalism is tabbo even for animals bro naturally. Not a nice comparison
@@ashu9757 There was no comparison, it was a very rudimentary and simplistic statement on pre-vedic/vedic society and its laws.
Considering there were people like Charvakas, Buddhists, Nagas, and other kinds of religious and non-religious people with different views on religion, sex, nudity, and the likes all living in the same society told heaps about their intellectual maturity.
@@iceadobe139 Bro i was talking about cannibalism as an example, kind of a bad example to give
You seem to have gained your knowledge from the likes of devdutt who tend to sexualize every aspect of hindu life associated with vedic history.
@@BelwalAmit
No i tend to look at ancient travelogues and temple architecture which openly display sexual imagery without shame. I know about the existence of tribals, Naga(s), and Jain Munis, that are spread all over India and still don't wear an ounce of cloth. Heck even Sadhus and Buddhists monk never wore stitched clothes for the longest time.
Even till 100 years ago, in many south Indian states, upper garment was completely optional. Nudity was never a bad thing in India, Indians have just digressed as of late.
I have read real accounts of Chinese travellers who wrote people only wore two pieces of clothes as there were no sophisticated dresses, just plain clothes.
I've travelled through south Indian temple where men, even today, have to remove their upper clothes in order to enter the temple.
And I don't even like Devdutt or his work for that matter, but my dislike doesn't blind me from looking at objective facts.
Hope that answer your cynical view of India.
One thing, I liked about this channel and you ( mohak ) that you always come with different informative videos. Such videos help to get us knowledge
I have some criticism of this video :-
• I don't think we as an audience was ever comfortable to watch masturbation scene in movies in general, tbh I think if some male actors do the same Jerk off scene people would have same reason (maybe not on that level as for its in case of women is but it's not comfy at all)
• Its not only Indian Families or Indian Parents - watching sex scenes with Parents in general in most country/culture/society is same - Uncomfortable so that's not something unique about India.
• And for God's sake Mohak Don't use P@rn as a Good example of exploring sexuality - P@rn is extremely sexist/Misogynistic and based on Creep male gaze & it's objectify both man & women in the vids although it degrade women more coz obviously majority & regular consumers of that is men so I that's why.
• Plus whenever somebody say that Ancient India is that progressive I highly doubt it, coz I feel like that the info is incomplete I want to know more & Correct info & Not the cherry picked one.
Fully Agreed 💯
Yes!!
I too was kinda pulled off due to some of the points mohak mentioned, i mean they didn't set right in my mind, and now I know why.
He forgot to mention that according to Kamasutra, men cannot have sex with relatively upper caste females! (Birth Based Casteism)
Your last point is not agreeable... Ancient Vedic Bharat was much more progressive and civilized than today's India....
So we men of culture meet again 🗿
You definitely commented before watching the video. This isn't about suppressing women, sad huh? This one talks about respecting women and NOT sexualizing them. I figure this might be a foreign topic to you.

Homosexual couples are more mature then heterosexual couples, because they were able to discover themselves, which is sometimes not a case with others.
maybe but there's also a lot of confusion bcuz you don't know if what you're feeling is right or wrong? you also don't know why you are feeling that or why you don't take interest in girls the same way your other male classmates do
@@kushal4956 of course homosexuality is tough for the mind as well. Tbh I feel really bad for them as they have to face the social dogma as well as try to face their sexual identity
@@legendarymortarplayer9453 It's not tough for mind. I know what I feel is as natural as what others feel and hence there is no confusion or shame regarding one being homosexual. But that society part is true. You would even have to trust your friends a lot to disclose it to them.
this topic needs to be talked about WAY MORE!!!
Thanks to Mohak that now we are aware that the old Indian literature was actually advanced and more open minded.

30% are not women they are under 14 children using thier mother's mobile for online classes😂
That's what you would think. But marital rape is a reality in most households than you would like to accept.
Itna generalize bhi nhi karna tha...😂
@@dertier124 yes totally agree sex with bf / date and husband is different ...most women don't even get to orgsams cause male partners don't care
The problem is lack of communication, women are bad at expressing what they really want and feel it as some sort of apshakun when it comes to asking male partner to do it in the way she likes. How are we supposed to know what you want without giving a clear picture of it or just giving hints that only a telepathic can understand.
@@dertier124 what do you suggest how do we criminalize marital rape?
It's not just women... It is same with men... Basically for anyone to be open about this topic is looked as taboo... I feel our society needs to become more accepting and open minded for any gender.
Thanks a lot Mohak for talking about this... It's much needed in our society ❤️
Its quality of his youtube channel...that Mohak brother always present any issue with scientific approach and explanations in rationalistic way...infact todays society need more youtubers like you...just to wipe out this social taboo from society which got strongly firmed many centuries ago...and its bit irony that that ancient India was far more liberal and easy to go mindset than our todays society...especially when things going to raise over this issues...we need a great change.
