Hey there, i have this panel and was wondering if there was a way to add a secondary speaker to alert you when your door is opened? The panel is currently by the door, which makes it hard to hear the chime unless you're in the same area as the panel. The cheapo amazon chimes with plug in speakers seem to crap out on me and aren't very reliable. The sensors for this panel seem to be of much higher quality and all i'd need is to be able to hear when the doors are opened in various areas of the establishment.
There are a couple ways you could try to accomplish this. 1. You could add secondary keypads throughout the building. 2. You could add Z-wave Chimes through out the building 3. You could try a bluetooth speaker
@@zionssecurityalarms9261 Thank you for the response. I can't justify spending $250+ on more keypads just to use them as chimes. However, the bluetooth speaker or Z-Wave chimes are an option. I cannot seem to be able to connect my bluetooth speaker to the keypad. when i enable bluetooth, it says it's only for bluetooth disarm/arm. How would i do this?
can you enable Z-wave voice announcements to say what door or window opened?
Many of the chime sounds came from the Android 1.0 to 4.3 Notification sounds as they must have a contract with Android and Samsung
can I turn on the voice or chime to know when a door is closed?
I wish my command panel had this
Maybe someday they will add it.

Is it as quite as it sounds? If so is there any way to connect it wirelessly to an external speaker?
You can adjust the volume and you can also add an external blue tooth speaker and/or secondary keypads. You can even add a z-wave chime.
Any way to use custom sounds on this system, other than the default ones listed?
Not yet. Maybe soon.
