She is amazing in this film, do not be fooled by the teen age drama setting. This is a very powerful movie that is gripping in its own funny and tragic way. I really liked it, tha casting was excellent all around.

I think I might give this a try - if only for Woody Harrelson being the teacher we all know doesn't exist, but truly wish did (possibly on the condition we never had to deal with him).
So sick of teen dramas or comedies and coming of age movies like this, where they ALWAYS star some good looking actor in the role, Hailee Stienfield is gorgeous i mean look at her! So not convincing as this angsty teenager who has no friends bullshit.
