Houston is a democratic city, just has a republican step dad keeping them in step. Taxes are ridiculous out here and even though job opportunities are coming around, they are out in the burbs. Competition for those jobs is high, my company brings people in from out countries, very disappointed Hillary didn't win, now they can't so they are hiring locals now.
Max Coffin In the 70s and 80s, Alief and Sharpstown were mostly middle-class suburbs of Houston until all the apartments there began to deteriorate in the late 80s. The middle-class residents left to other suburbs in the 90s and lower-income people replaced the original residents since then. Not all of Houston's 'hoods' were always 'hoods' in the first place.
Montgomery county and conroe is mostly republican yet most of my coworkers commute from there to work here on the south side of houston. Why can't they find jobs in their own republican county? They rely on us democrats.

Give Democrats 20 years and that’s what can happen.
Evelyn Joseph Shut your racist ass up bitch
Max Coffin he right tho
I miss Houston
I'm from the 5th ward
I always wanted to live in Houston,I was about to move towards Houston several years ago with my little Family, but when I got a brochure on Houston and I seen how many Neighborhoods in that one city,I thought about my sons,it would have been highly risky to take them down there and the only House I saw that I could afford was in the 5th Ward,so I vetoed that idea, too dangerous to take my little Family down there
H-Town hold it down 🤘🏽
