I see that in one of the slides HREADY is acting as input to both master and slave, Is that correct? Who will generate HREADY?

Look at 26:20, it's explained why it also goes to slaves.

the presentation is good, but the presenter is explaining in the dark region without a pointer on the slide which is not visible to the viewer, so although the ppt is visible on the screen, but what the presenter is explaining especially in the timing diagrams is not at all understandable. better setup would have helped the cause.

Is AHB lite same as AXI lite ?

i don't think so. AXI is for multi master connection with ease implementation when compared to AHB lite. that's wat he mentioned in this video.
